Villagers at Kampung Parit Gantong Laut, Parit Lapis in Taman Nira near Batu Pahat, Johor, captured a 4.5m-long female crocodile weighing around 410kg after it wandered into an oil palm plantation on Wednesday (May 6). 00:13The Johor Fire and Rescue Department received a call about the reptile's presence at 10.30am

00:18and dispatched six firefighters and a fire-rapid tender from the Perngaram station to the scene.

00:24Upon arrival, the team found that the crocodile had already been restrained by the villagers.

00:31The operation also involved four personnel each from the Wildlife Department and the Johor Armed Forces.
