00:00A crocodile waiting for its prey in Sabah's Menumbok sub-district was captured early Friday

00:08morning.

00:09The Civil Defence Force received a report from a fisherman preparing to go to the river.

00:14They said he then spotted the reptile beside his listing boat.

00:18They said the man alerted the authorities and a three-member team was dispatched around

00:222 a.m.

00:23They successfully captured, bound and secured the 230-kilo crocodile by 5.50 a.m.

00:31No injuries were reported.

00:33The crocodile, measuring almost four metres in length, will be handed over to the Wildlife

00:37Department for further action.
