Take control of seasonal allergies with the AccuWeather app

With the free AccuWeather app, you can monitor tree pollen, ragweed and grass pollen levels that can aggravate seasonal allergies. Jon Porter shows how you can access these features on the app.

00:00There's no doubt there's been lots of pollen in the air across many parts of

00:08the country here over the last several weeks. In fact, sometimes people have been

00:12waking up to pollen all over their cars. Lots of problems with seasonal allergies.

00:16We have many tools in the free AccuWeather app to help you optimize your

00:20health, safety, and comfort. We're going to take a look at some of those tools

00:23today. When you download the free AccuWeather app, which you could do by

00:26scanning that QR code that's on the screen, you can get your latest local

00:30forecast. Here's the dashboard when you go right into the AccuWeather app. Of

00:33course, we're going to go to Trenton, New Jersey today, but you can go anywhere

00:36around the country or anywhere around the world by tapping in the top part of the

00:41screen here and then just putting another location in and you'll get your

00:44latest local AccuWeather forecast with proven superior accuracy. I want to show

00:48the tools around health, safety, and comfort. If you go down on the main

00:53screen here, down past the interactive maps radar in past air quality into

00:58health and activities, and you tap on health and activities, you have the

01:02ability to view all kinds of forecasts related to aspects of the weather that

01:07play a role in either helping various types of health conditions or

01:11aggravating them. And one of them, of course, is pollen. I'm going to go back to

01:14the main home screen there. And when you tap on this button right here, you have the

01:19ability to go into the settings control and personalize this. So look at all the

01:23different types of forecasts you can get for allergies, health, common cold risk,

01:26flu risk, mold. But I'm going to turn on tree pollen, ragweed pollen, and grass

01:32pollen because those are important to me. I'm going to tap on done. And then on the

01:36Premium Plus app, I'm going to be able to take a look at the graph those out and

01:40look at the forecast here. High levels of pollen here as we head over toward

01:45Trenton. And notice how that evolves over the coming days. AccuWeather has been
