00:42around the country and around the world. And to get to the air quality, you scroll down here
00:48through the current conditions and the interactive radar and maps, and you go down into air quality.
00:55And when you do that, you'll see that the air quality dial will show up and the air quality
01:02index, the AQI, that's a number that describes how much pollution is in the air, will show up
01:08right on the screen there. And also a description. So 173 on the AQI, and that's very unhealthy. And
01:14look at the description that AccuWeather provides. Health impacts will be immediately felt by sensitive
01:19groups and people should avoid outdoor activities. We talk about breathing and throat irritation.
01:25And you have the opportunity to see more and see that this is being caused by fine particulate matter.
01:30That's that wildfire smoke. And you can take a look at the individual contributors to that poor air
01:35quality. And then down, look at the scale and different details about the impacts. You can also tap
01:41on hourly and chart out the air quality index hour by hour to help you to make the best decisions.
