00:00I'm Max Tariot and today I'm going to show you what my workout looks like.
00:17I didn't really start working out in this sense until I think I was like 21. I saw Ryan Felipe
00:25on the cover of Men's Health and thought, I can look like that. And that's when I really
00:29started going to the gym all the time. My weight started going up. The amount of weight I was
00:32lifting was going up was increasing. You know, I started to notice that my body was changing.
00:37That's what really sort of hooked me was getting to actually see a difference and see this time
00:42that you put in. I can't make a change. It just takes consistency. So my workout, I'm going to
00:46probably try and focus more on back stuff. I'm a big incline bench press guy if I'm benching.
00:54And I finish with some more. I love like a pull down just because of the things that you can do
01:03on this machine. And I usually go to like a wider grip thing towards the end. Most of my sets are
01:08done either 15, 12, 10, 8 or 20, 15, 12, 8, like in that range. And as I'm lowering the reps,
01:16I'm upping the weight. This one kind of looks a little different. I put my feet back and like
01:22basically kind of allow my, my back to arch more. Um, and this one will come down like lower.
01:29Honestly, the biggest thing for me is if I have like a really good pump and I'm tired at the end,
01:36like that's really when you're done. I hardly ever flat bench. This is usually where I come down to.
01:45And then I'll usually do like, like 20 or something as a warmup. So my training for fire country,
01:56when I started out on the show, a lot of it was I wanted to sort of change my appearance,
02:00what my character was going through. So I was trying to get that Bane, like Edward Norton,
02:05like kind of weird and scary Jack thing going on with like bigger traps, bigger shoulders on camera.
02:10If you're wider this way, you're going to look bigger than if you're wider this way. So I do a lot
02:15of that. I finished like every workout with arms. I mean, anything on a cable push down, pull downs,
02:23cable curls, like there's honestly a million things you can do that I find myself sort of
02:29just trying to switch up the motion a little bit. So it's not always the same and I was hitting the
02:35same muscle, but you're just working it, working it out a little bit differently every time. And
02:41then to do these, sometimes I'll do them like it's a single arm instead of two title fancy knot in there.
02:47I'll do like a sideways instead. So same thing, same like same rep, same sets.
02:59Gotta get the shoulders out. Everything's same reps, same amount of sets, going up in weight.
03:09I'm a little different when I do these, like I won't just do like a direct like shoulder fly. I
03:17kind of like having an angle because then at the end I turn it into like a trap squeeze where you'll
03:23kind of still get that same, you know, balled up shoulder look, but you're hitting your traps.
03:29And then a lot of time just to kind of start burning it out. I'll keep the weights and I'll do
03:36like different variations of like a bicep exercise while I have them. So hammer curls, or I like
03:43these, basically a hammer curl that turns into a regular curl, but reverse and standing, probably
03:50the easiest way so I don't, my legs are clear, but basically I normally do like 10 in each direction.
04:00So up, hammer, down, straight, up, hammer, down, straight, and then I'll go the opposite. So I'll go
04:07up, straight, down with a hammer curl, up, straight, down with a hammer curl. And I'll do these like 20
04:16reps. So 10 of each. And that's like one of my favorite bicep exercises by far. So that was my
04:22everyday workout. Keep hammering, get some, everybody can do it. If I can do it, you can, trust me.
04:30Keep hammering, keep hammering, keep hammering, keep hammering, keep hammering, keep hammering, keep hammering,
04:36keep hammering, keep hammering, keep hammering, keep hammering, keep hammering, keep hammering, keep hammering,
04:38keep hammering, keep hammering, keep hammering, keep hammering, keep hammering, keep hammering, keep hammering,
