Haryana, Centre want to loot water from Punjab: Harpal Cheema on Punjab-Haryana water dispute

Chandigarh, May 05, 2025 (ANI): As one-day special session of the Punjab Assembly will be going to held today to discuss water release to Haryana, Punjab Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema on May 05 alleged that both the Haryana and Central government want to loot water from Punjab. “Water is a huge necessity for Punjab...We have given more than their share of water to Haryana...Both the Haryana and Central governments want to loot water from Punjab. Our AAP govt will never let this happen. We are not doing politics...,” said Harpal Singh Cheema.
