Stampede at Goa temple: “It started when…” Eyewitness narrates shocking sequence of events

Shirgaon (Goa), May 03, 2025 (ANI):  A stampede broke out at the Sree Devi Lairai temple during the annual Shri Lairai jatra (Procession) in Goa. Around six people died and several injured during stampede. Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant, Director General of Police (DGP) of Goa along with police officers visited at Shri Lairai Zatra in Shirgao. An eyewitness on the spot.
