00:40at under three to one but you have to imagine he's been hearing everybody for the last few weeks saying

00:49been a better player he's one of me yeah scott's got to be starting again it was hell of it all
00:54right you want to see me win let me take this field that i'm so much better than and i'll just
00:58go smash them this week and he's kind it's only we got a long way to go but he's kind of on his way
01:02to that here at his first front nine brady he's already minus money he's now minus 150 to win the
01:09golf tournament can you believe that on thursday i mean i got rico hoey right i i'm on rico hoey i'm

01:21the front nine pal you know i mean i kind of felt like to your point mike it was going to be that way

01:43playing three to one or plus 280 but 12 to one for first round leader i usually don't like taking
01:49the chalk for first round leader but if scotty's gonna blow everybody away i figured 12 to one's not

02:09are going uh out to south korea this is the jack nicholas course now uh i was doing my little bit of
02:15research and i know you have much more extensive than me that you'll tell me now but this is the course
02:20uh where they have played a president's cup here before and i did see i believe 10 of the golfers
02:26on live played in that president's cup at the jack nicholas court so tell us a little bit about
02:33where we're going here tonight yeah you're right 2015 they had the president's cup there and i think
02:38for the most part the guys that were involved you know are probably not guys that are going to be on
02:44your radar necessarily this week you know bubba watson maybe dustin johnson you know i've seen
02:50some players liking him uh you know and he's been kind of hot and cold as of late threatening you know
02:56to show up on the top of some leaderboards phil mickelson uh but the one guy i think that you can
03:02kind of lean on a little bit that has a real shot and has been playing great and i believe was at that
03:07president's cup in 2015 is patrick reed and i've seen some people on him as well you know i was on
03:14him for the masters i mean he very well could have been in that playoff with justin rose and rory as
03:19well if he doesn't three putt the 13th green played very well in mexico city last week so i think reed
03:25is a factor they also played the korea championship on the dp world tour there in 2023 and 2024 and last
03:35year it was benny on who won it uh tom kim finished second now kim is not a real big hitter but if you
03:42look at that leaderboard from last year benny on is a big hitter nicolai hoigard was up there guido
03:48migueluzzi from the dp world tour there was a lot of really big hitters on that leaderboard and that's
03:53one of the things that first jumped out at me is boy it seems to help to have some distance here and
03:59and we know nicholas tracks usually reward the guys that are good off the tee and also hit a fade jack
04:06love to hit the fade right second shot golf course that's typically what we get with nicholas track so
04:12i look for guys that were relatively big off the tee or anyway good off the tee could hit a lot of greens
04:18in regulation good iron play and if they happen to hit a fade that was a bonus that's where i kind of
04:24started the handicap this week mike well uh let's get to it then brady tell me who you've got and i will
04:29tell you just out of the gates because you just mentioned it i am one of the guys i'm taking patrick
04:33reed this week uh i was able to get a 20 to 1 on him you know i'm one of the few guys i actually like
04:39rooting for patrick reed i know that that's not allowed because everybody hates him but i like
04:43rooting for patrick reed so when he's playing this well and i'm still getting a 20 because we've talked
04:49weeks all these times about how chalky live is with bryson and with ron and with i mean it's
04:55watching neiman brady can this neiman by the way i've had bryson twice i've had bryson twice the last
05:02two events gosh this guy you put your pga championship look ahead article out today
05:07which i haven't gotten to look at yet but it just brings me back to neiman because the guy wins like
05:12every other event now on live he's winning all the time it's true can he can he finally play well at one
05:18of these majors can we see neiman finally on a sunday in one of the last two or three groups like with
05:25all these other big guys because he hasn't done it brady he just hasn't well i i don't think the
05:30british open is necessarily his cup of tea it certainly hasn't been the masters i'm not so
05:36sure about the u.s open i think if he's going to get one it's going to be the pga you're right that
05:41article i just tweeted it out up at golf.com for early selections guys that i've been playing really
05:47since january because we've got a golf course in the quail hollow club mike that we've seen before
05:53we've got some history you know they used to play the wells fargo there every year going back to
05:572003 so we we've got a kind of a jump on what this golf course you know who it might reward
06:04who it might favor as far as a skill set unlike most majors where they go to a different joint
06:09every year yep uh and we obviously know this will be talked about a lot for two weeks rory
06:14is so good at quail hollow he's been unbelievable at that place after his master's win all right tell
06:20me who you got in south korea tonight all right i started out and you said it the live i mean it's
06:2650 guys there's really only about four or five guys that are probably going to be there week in
06:32and week out and then there's maybe a handful of guys that that might actually beat them you know
06:36a mark leishman or something like that i i started out with wrong i you know i think roms ready to win
06:43his finishes have been second sixth sixth fifth ninth fourth number one in strokes gain total number
06:49one in stroke average number one in par four scoring second in greens and regulation here's what put me
06:55over the top with ron he hits a big ball he loves to hit a fade and he has done extremely well on
07:01nicholas courses the memorial right the pga tour jack's place he won there once he really won there
07:07twice remember when they pulled him off the course because he tested positive for covid okay now we play
07:13speaking of covid we go to sherwood country club in southern california in 2020 because they you know for
07:20the zozo they weren't going to go overseas they keep it here in the states that's a nicholas course
07:25rom finished runner up there so the combination of john rom who finishes literally top 10 every week on
07:32the live circuit and was fourth last week in mexico now you put him on a nicholas track i had to go
07:38there then i went with the dean you know our love for dean burmester i think he's another guy
07:43outside of joaquin and hatton and rom and bryson he's that next tier he can beat those guys too and
07:50he's big off the tee also did very well at a nicholas course the pga championship last year at
07:56bahala where he finished 12th and in my long bomb number one on the live circuit and driving accuracy
08:03number two or excuse me number four in driving accuracy number one in greens and regulation has two
08:10top 10 finishes already this season on the live harold varner the third at 49 to one took a shot
08:17with him i i am with you on rom i know i went to him last week in mexico city but i'm going back to
08:23him so me and brady both rom with six to one cameron smith i think playing a little bit better 18 to one
08:28for him i told you read at 20 to one i usually like taking a guy when they're in one of these other
08:34countries that's from there but none no south korea team are so bad i mean they never are involved in
08:41these live events how about nah for top 10 at five to one like i can't take the guy to win maybe not
08:48shows up for one of these iron head guys and actually plays maybe first round leader if he
08:53first round leader could be a good one as well
