Farke on meaning of winning Championship title with Leeds

00:00Leeds United head coach Daniel Farker has spoken of what winning the championship title would mean,

00:05not only to him, but the players and supporters of the club.

00:11Yes, but not for me personally, so it's more or less like I mentioned after the last home game,

00:16when you come into the stadium and you literally sense and feel,

00:21and when you watch into the face of our supporters, you see how proud they are and how much they enjoy it,

00:26and some really emotionally touched, even with tears in their eyes,

00:31how much it means to them that this club, thank God, is back where it belongs and is back to successful ways.

00:38It would be just great to share one more great moment with them, not for me personally.

00:43It's more like I see how much hard work goes into this from the players, from all our staff,

00:49from all the people in the club, and to be able to celebrate this proper, even with the league title.

00:55And we know we have also some songs about being champions,

01:00and to be allowed to sing these songs again and to share this moment together,

01:05yeah, of course, would be great.

01:08Again, it doesn't take anything away, even if we don't win it.

01:12And Bradford City striker Andy Cook has won the club's Goal of the Year award,

01:17despite being injured for much of the second half of the season.

01:21Cook said that he was very pleased to pick up the award, despite the season not going as he had hoped,

01:26given the injury he had picked up, preventing him from playing as Bradford went up the table.

01:31Yeah, obviously, I appreciate them voting that, and obviously the support I've got,

01:41even throughout the injury. It's massive for me.

01:44It's obviously a pretty good goal. Where does it rank in your own career?

01:48I think it's right up there. It's got to be right up there.

01:51Coming in on half-holly on my weak foot, from Suffolk, it's right up there.

01:56Scored you 100th EFL goal in that game as well. It couldn't have gone any better, really, could it that afternoon?

02:00No, that day was a good day.

02:03A fond memory for myself, actually.

02:05Obviously, my season didn't turn out how I wanted it to,

02:10but, you know, it's nice to get a bit of recognition.
