Farke reflects on Leeds’ promotion celebrations ahead of Bristol City test

00:00Leeds United head coach Daniel Falker has reflected on the White's promotion celebrations that took place

00:06following their 6-0 victory against Stoke City, ahead of what is a tough test against Bristol City on Monday evening.

00:15Well, I think it's important once you achieve something really special with the club,

00:23it's also like in the history of the club something really special,

00:26just the second promotion to the Premier League in the last 35 years,

00:30the only other one was under Marcelo a few years ago during Corona time,

00:34so first time since 35 years with the supporters in the stadium, you have to value it,

00:42you also have to celebrate it because otherwise you will ask yourself one day,

00:46why are you doing all this hard work and disciplined stuff anyhow if you can't cherish and value the moments,

00:51that's what we have done and of course on Monday and also Tuesday the celebration was ongoing,

00:59we also allowed ourselves, Wednesday was a day off anyway,

01:03also yesterday an additional day off to recreate and clear the head a little bit and to rest a bit,

01:11but from today on back to work, I think it was necessary also for the players to enjoy this moment

01:18and right now we're also back to work.

01:21And Bradford City manager Graeme Alexander has reflected on his side's 2-1 loss against Doncaster Rovers,

01:28that has currently prevented their promotion to League One, saying that a half-time dismissal cost them.

01:34We've been a little bit of the all-throw of having downfall,

01:39it's a good team, getting their tails up, they've got their own aspirations of winning the game,

01:46but I was confident with the start we made, I thought we were good,

01:52they got the goal from the set piece, but I didn't see a negative reaction from the players or anything,

01:59but obviously events at half-time have changed the course of the game,

02:03or potentially the course of the game with our aspirations of winning it,

02:08not made it impossible, but made it extremely difficult with the red card at half-time.
