At a press briefing, House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) decried President Trump's first 100 days in office.

00:00When my oldest son, JJ, was nine years old, he played travel baseball with a group of his friends.
00:10Many of you know that travel sports can be taxing on the schedule.
00:17It's a labor of love for our children.
00:21During the season, it seems like almost every weekend, for several months, you're on the road.
00:27And so this one particular Memorial Day weekend, JJ had a baseball tournament in a little town off the beaten path somewhere in the northeast.
00:37Travel sports can take you to some interesting places.
00:41I decided to make it a road trip and bring my youngest son, Joshua, with us.
00:46He was just six years old at the time.
00:50And so I said to him, he's going to come on this trip and it'll be like a vacation.
00:57What did I say that for, y'all?
01:02When I mentioned vacation, he had visions of Atlantis.
01:07So we pulled up to the motel where we were staying and the situation was a bit shaky.
01:19My six-year-old son looked at the motel, looked at me, looked at the motel, looked at me,
01:28and said, Dad, is this where we're staying?
01:35I said, yes, Joshua, why do you ask?
01:38He responded, oh, my God, Dad, this is a debacle.
01:47Six years old, I looked at him and said, what does the word debacle mean?
01:53He responded quickly.
01:57He said, I don't know, Dad.
01:59It's something bad.
