This interpretative experimental "film loop" was inspired by the six weeks in Calgary I spent 200 feet below an unmarked, black and sometimes unlit pirate helicopter. Photographed in the dying minutes of day under swirling clouds, this animated movie documents the moment lights from the city's downtown center become reflected in the overcast sky as the sun disappears below the horizon. Includes a lovely homage to the "reel change" of cinema, courtesy of the single blink of a red light atop a communications tower. Should be watched in HQ mode.
