00:27Janelle, Cody's second wife, spoke about her changing feelings
00:31about getting a spiritual release from the family's church.
00:34I never really thought about a spiritual divorce.
00:37It didn't even occur to me because we're really not part of that church anymore,
00:40Janelle told producers in a clip shared with people.
00:43And then when Mary got one, I'm like, huh.
00:46Her former sister wife, Cody's third, Christine Brown,
00:51then shared that she wasn't interested in getting a spiritual divorce
00:55after splitting from Cody in November 2021,
00:58despite Cody's first wife, Mary Brown, getting one.
01:02I was at a different spot spiritually, Christine explained.
01:07I believe in God, and he was great with me leaving,
01:11so the conversation with him was good enough for me.
01:14In the clip, Mary even offered to go with Janelle
01:17to ask the church for a spiritual release.
01:19I'm not dating, but if I found somebody,
01:23I would never want there to be a weird barrier in my head, Janelle told her.
01:28Later, Janelle revealed that she had kept her faith despite divorcing Cody,
01:33aside from that whole plural marriage thing.
01:36She then concluded,
01:37If I were to remarry, maybe it's worth getting a spiritual divorce.
01:42Today, Cody is only married to his fourth wife, Robin Brown.
