00:00Jennifer Aniston shares rare details about childhood, I've sort of lived by that, she
00:05said. Jennifer Aniston is all about living a healthy lifestyle, and it all began during
00:09her childhood. The Friends star admitted that the advice she got from her parents, actress
00:14Nancy Tao, and Days of Our Lives icon John Aniston, shaped her healthy habits. Speaking
00:20with People magazine, Aniston gave a rare insight into how she was raised. The actress
00:25revealed she wasn't allowed to eat sugar, when she was allowed to have bread it had
00:29to be split. I grew up in one of those holistic households, dot dot, so I've sort of lived
00:34by that, Aniston explained. Another thing that Tao made sure her daughter understood was the
00:39importance of drinking water. My mum sort of drilled into me the importance of drinking
00:43water since I was a kid, but I guess really more in my late teens. The Morning Show star
00:48said, I've become so hyper aware of people who don't drink water now, because I've always
00:52been such a water drinker. Aniston is such an advocate for drinking water that she's constantly
00:57taking a page out of her mum's book and drilling the importance of it into friends and colleagues.
01:02She can tell when someone isn't a water drinker, so she consistently reminds them to stay hydrated.
01:07I have girlfriends that just can't drink water, they just don't like the taste of it. It's like,
01:12it's water. It's just water. And I constantly say, you have to hydrate.
01:16You must hydrate, she shared. The actress's love of water and need to help keep people hydrated led
01:22her to partner with SM. It's a partnership she's very proud of and hopes will continue for a long time.
