UP CM Yogi slams Samajwadi Party, Congress for ‘divisive remarks’ over Pahalgam attack

Deoria (UP), April 29, 2025 (ANI): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on April 29 launched a blistering attack on Samajwadi Party and Congress, accusing them of divisive politics and issuing statements supporting Pakistan in the wake of the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack. Urging unity, Adityanath called for the country to rise above political differences and rally under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership to eradicate terrorism.“... After the Pahalgam terror attack, it has become difficult for us to figure out whether it is really the Samajwadi Party leaders giving out such statements, or is it a spokesperson of Pakistan...A man from Kanpur, Shubham Dwivedi was brutally killed in Pahalgam. When a journalist asked Samajwadi Party leaders why they didn't visit Shubham Dwivedi's residence, he said the deceased wasn't a member of their party. This was such a shameful statement...  Someone from the Samajwadi party even says that the Hindus have killed Hindus... Whenever there will be divisive politics, SP and Congress leaders will cross all limits of appeasement, just like they are doing now. The whole nation should unanimously condemn this incident, and under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi, we should resolve to fight against and put an end to terror... There should be a limit where we rise above our political differences and think about the country and our people...,” said Yogi Adityanath.
