Greenland will never never be a "piece of property" to be bought, the Arctic island's new prime minister said on Sunday, criticizing U.S. talk of seizing the Danish autonomous territory.
“The talks from the United States have not been respectful or the words used have not been respectful, so that is why we need to in this situation to stand together,” Jens-Frederik Nielsen said – to which Danish PM Mette Fredriksen, literally standing with him, said “I totally agree with that."
