00:01Union leaders who met French Prime Minister Sébastien Le Corneur Wednesday left the nearly two and a half hour meeting
00:08feeling disappointed.
00:09The unions had hoped for concrete responses to the social unrest in France. They also feel like their demands aren't
00:16being heard.
00:17L'heure est venue de franchir un nouveau cap dans la mobilisation. La grève doit prendre le relais.

00:54Justice Minister Gérald Darmanin says around 2,500 people have been taken into custody, 917 have appeared in court for
01:03a summary trial, and 174 have been incarcerated.
01:08Meanwhile, local curfews are now entering their third night, particularly in Paris, Lyon, Marseille, Bordeaux and Nice.
01:15These cities are maintaining the nighttime restrictions in place to prevent further unrest, while police remain on high alert.
01:23These measures could be extended until Saturday, when another nationwide day of protests is planned.
