00:00and tonight is huge Joe because we have all three games in the exact same situation you've got a

00:06team down 2-0 going home trying to keep these series going because as you know we all know you

00:12get down 3-0 you're finished you got no shot for the most part so out of these three teams tonight

00:18who are you looking at the most is it Montreal is it Edmonton or is it the Devils that's going to be

00:24able to jump back into these series well Mike it's definitely not the Edmonton Oilers I think

00:29they have the least chance of getting the win tonight after what we saw in that last game with

00:34Stuart Skinner being yanked out of that with what eight minutes and change left in it and Connor

00:39Pickard being put in so when I look at the other two teams out there that are the home dogs it is

00:46the Montreal Canadiens we look at this series of versus the Washington Capitals and how strong

00:51they've really played it so the Washington Capitals have won the first two games but we look

00:55at it they won game one three to two in overtime they won game two three to one with an empty netter

01:01so these have been tight defensive battles between these two now Montreal coming back home we're going

01:07to see that home crowd completely behind this team it's going to be pivotal for them to get up and get

01:12up fast now we look at Patrick Laine Patrick Laine was benched in the last game he's going to have the

01:17matchup he wants out there on the ice and I do think he steps up in this game we're going to see

01:23call Caulfield Nick Suzuki Lane Hudson and even Demidoff come to play in this so I do think Montreal

01:29can come out nice and strong get the win at home get us that plus money their team total sitting at

01:35two and a half little juicy here but that could be a parlay piece if people want to play it yeah I'm

01:40with you Joe actually and I know this is the first time that Montreal is having a really legitimately a

01:45full house of fans in a playoff game since 2018 those games and of course 2021 not full crowds that

01:52they had there that season but now they're going to get a full bell center for tonight I think

01:56Montreal gets this thing back to 2-1 uh you said Edmonton I actually give the Devils less chance

02:02uh than Edmonton tonight I think that the Devils are completely finished uh in this series they're once

02:08again not going to have Hughes and Dylan tonight back there they're not going to have they just

02:12haven't looked good Joe and this is like typical Carolina for me they're going to pump everybody

02:17up here they're going to beat up on a shorthanded devil team and then every there they are their

02:22favorites to be win the cup again after this performance and then they're going to let

02:25everybody down in the next round and probably lose to Washington but I don't think the Devils

02:29have much chance tonight well I look at the inconsistencies of the Carolina Hurricanes and we

02:34look at the regular season they really did struggle out there on the road that regular season

02:38record going 16 21 and 4 away from home but I also look at their last 18 road playoff games

02:45Mike and this is where I really can't put any juice like to lay juice here on the Carolina

02:51Hurricanes you could bet them in regulation if you think they're going to get it done but it really

02:55stands out to me their last 18 road games they've gone 5 and 13. I look at this one as if the Devils

03:01come out desperate they know they can't go down 0 and 3 in the series and I hear what you're saying

03:06with Luke Hughes with Brendan Dillon out of the lineup this offense is going to have to step up

03:11to another level that they haven't been able to do they get to convert on that power play but their

03:16kill has been nice and strong they've killed off Carolina's most of their power play opportunities

03:21they've only allowed one power play goal so if the defense can come out like that if we can see

03:27Timo Meier and Nico Heischer really step up in this game we could see a situation in which the Devils

03:33could pull it off so before putting money on the Carolina Hurricanes definitely I have to look at

03:38the Devils here with that plus money at home to find a way to get something done I would look at

03:43their over two and a half goals they've got to hit Frederick Anderson in this one it's coming in at

03:46minus 102 and last thing uh with Edmonton and the Kings tonight because I'm with you uh well look I'm

03:52I'm on the Kings for the series I have the Kings uh game one series parlay and the guy the Kings

03:57seven ways to Sunday Joe uh in this so I hope you're right I think we maybe get a little pushback

04:03from Edmonton but the thing I'm looking at is these we've had a lot of goals in this uh so far

04:08a lot of goals in this series I saw some five and a halves this morning now some books have moved it up

04:14to six and a half another over tonight in Edmonton I can't do it I really think if the LA Kings are

04:20winning this one tonight Mike we're gonna see that 2-1 style game that we haven't seen out of this

04:25series as of yet the Kings while they're so strong offensively at home and defensively as well we

04:31haven't seen that uptick in the offense really as much out there on the road and I do think if we see

04:36that high scoring game it has to be Edmonton for the win with Connor McDavid and Leon Dreisaitl finding a

04:41way to get this offense really rolling but I can't buy into that I'm gonna look at the block shot market

04:47as well as the Kings and I'm like you I'm all over the Kings for this series but you can look at

04:52Drew Dowdy here for the LA Kings two plus block shots is coming in at minus 135 and then you can

04:58ult him to three plus block shots tonight at plus 240. I'm gonna put a half unit on each and then

05:03Darnell Nurse here you're gonna see the defense of the Edmonton Oilers really standing in front of

05:08whichever goaltender because we don't know if they'll put Skinner or Pickard in tonight Darnell Nurse in

05:13game one had six block shots in game two he was able to get two tonight you're getting him three plus

05:19block shots at plus 150 he's going to be needing to stand in front of that puck I would ladder him

05:25all the way up to five I wouldn't take it much higher in this one Mike it's gonna be an epic

05:30battle between these two and then if you want to look at power play points I know I think it's gonna

05:34be lower scoring Kempe you can't deny him four power play points already in this series for the LA Kings

05:40he's coming in at plus 160.
