00:18of global instability, which is felt by working people as an age of local insecurity. Factory

00:27workers, builders, carers, nurses, teachers, working harder and harder for the pound in

00:35their pocket, but feeling at the same time that they have less control over their lives.

00:44And energy security is right at the heart of this. Every family and every business across the United

00:52Kingdom has paid the price for Russia weaponising energy, and it has. But it's not just that.

01:03Because let's be frank, when it comes to energy, we are also paying the price for our overexposure

01:12over many years to the rollercoaster of international fossil fuel markets.
