Leaking roof at public housing home

Tracey Milczarek says she has asked multiple times for repairs to be done to her ACT Housing property.

00:00It's actually quite depressing with all the maintenance that needs doing and the

00:06fact that it's all urgent maintenance so maintenance that needs doing yesterday.

00:13I have a roof leak so when it rains it rains on the inside of the house. I've

00:19found a lot of needles in the ground when I've been digging gardening out the

00:26front and back. In the backyard it was as if people were just throwing their

00:34rubbish bags out the back. My three-year-old's bedroom and where the

00:41mold is they share a wall so the toilet and the bedroom share a wall and there's

00:46four walls that are severely full of mold but on the inside of the wall not on the

00:53outside deep rock of the wall they've just come and I asked them not to put a

01:00hole in the bedroom wall they came in and put a hole in the bedroom wall I asked if

01:05they could put a hole in the toilet wall on the toilet side of the wall the man

01:13refused and he opened the wall up in the child's bedroom nothing was covered so as

01:19soon as he opened the wall the whole room smelled of mold
