00:00Hi, it's DHA's Rock and Rough. I am Terri Carr and I am here with my friend, Molly.

00:08Some days I'll tell you, you could be having the worst day ever and it just gets better.

00:16How could it not?

00:16All right, I'm a Yorkie lover.

00:18So you told me about this lovely little family that is looking for a home.

00:23Tom, our cameraman, if you could scoot down and let everybody see mama.

00:25Mama is lovely.

00:27She's got a beautiful little personality.

00:29Tell me about your organization.

00:31It's your first time coming in for Rock and Rough.

00:33And what I wanted to do today, look, these little puppies are going to get adopted.

00:38They're beautiful and they're sweet and they're healthy and everybody loves a little puppy.

00:43I wanted to focus on them because I want people to know that you can find any kind of dog in a local rescue group.

00:50They are purebred.

00:51People are into the purebred Yorkshire Terriers.

00:54How do I know this for sure?

00:56I've had four Yorkies.

00:57So I know that these guys are Yorkies.

01:00Four little boys, all little brothers.

01:02We have Aries and Apollo and Achilles.

01:04I can't tell them apart.

01:06So tell me about your organization and how you guys got this wonderful little family.

01:12So I work for Dr. Houston Monk Cameron Animal Hospital.

01:17So she runs a rescue called Cameron Animal Rescue.

01:21And ACC New York called us up on the family to get them out of the shelter because they were surrendered.

01:27Surrendered by someone who had them.

01:30Mama was pregnant, just had puppies.

01:32Persons like a day old, I don't know what I can possibly do with these puppies.

01:37So brought them to a shelter.

01:39Shelters, not always the best place for puppies.

01:42When they're young, they have very, very difficult times.

01:45So these puppies went into a fabulous foster family with a lovely, what is the foster's name?

01:52I'm so sorry.

01:53Viviana.

01:54Viviana and her family.

01:55She's got two small kids, decided to foster these babies.

01:58And oh my God, they're just so cute.

02:00I'm like feeling his little teeth.

02:01He's just like the cutest thing.

02:03I can't take it.

02:04And that's what it's all about.

02:05So there are so many ways that you can get involved.

02:07There are so many ways that you can help out.

02:09Mama is wonderful.

02:11She's got a beautiful disposition.

02:13She's a fabulous mama dog.

02:15Super friendly, letting us handle her babies.

02:17And she is looking for a home as well.

02:19A lot of interest in mama.

02:21But let's check out these little, I want to call them pieces of candy.

02:26Because that's what they remind me of.

02:27They're like a Tootsie Roll and a piece of chocolate.

02:29And they're just so cute.

02:30But hanging out at WDHA on DHA's Rock and Rough.

02:34And I'm telling you, I don't think I'm letting them leave.

02:37Get ready for cuteness overload, overload, overload.

02:42With this beautiful Yorkshire Terrier family from Cameron Animal Hospital Rescue in Montclair.

02:49Proving to me and you that every dog can be in need of a rescue.

02:54These four beautiful puppies came in with their Yorkie mama from a city shelter.

02:58And thankfully ended up in the Cameron Animal Hospital family.

03:02With a wonderful foster family to raise them from the time the pups were a day old.

03:07Check out Achilles, Apollo, Ares and Atlas.

03:10Who stopped by WDHA for some puppy love.

03:13And you know I was in heaven.

03:15And of course some exposure.

03:17This family, even mama, are super tiny, super sweet.

03:21And the cutest bundles of love that you have ever seen.

03:24All four puppies and mama are looking for their forever home.

03:28And mama is good with all.

03:29Including kids who she lived with in her foster home.

03:32However, due to the fragile and small nature of the pups.

03:35A home with small children is not recommended.

03:37These babies are perfect.

03:39And incredible ambassadors for what your local rescue organizations are helping with.

03:44When animals need a place to go.
