00:00But right now, it is the second date update.
00:02We are trying to help out Ricky and get him set back up on another date with Amanda.
00:07They've actually hung out, I believe, three times.
00:09Right, yeah.
00:10So this is trying to make this a fourth here.
00:12So something happened on this third date where she got turned off by something.
00:17So let's go ahead and bring her on.
00:18We have her on hold right now.
00:20Amanda, are you there?
00:22Hey, yeah.
00:23Amanda, I know you talked to Kevin, and he kind of gave you a little bit of a rundown
00:27that we wanted to talk to you about a guy you went on a date with, right?
00:30Yeah.
00:31Okay, so Ricky is who we're talking about.
00:34We heard you guys with the hat tricks, and then you guys hung out again.
00:36And then the third time you guys hung out, he actually invited you over to his house and cooked for you.
00:42You guys had steaks and had a great meal.
00:45And now he wants to see you again, but hasn't heard anything since you coming over to his house.
00:51And he's just kind of confused on what's going on.
00:53So can you kind of fill us in on what happened?
00:56Sure.
00:58I mean, the truth is that I was so looking forward to going to his house and just like seeing, you know,
01:06you learn a lot about someone when you're in their space, right?
01:09And like, you know, he's a great dresser.
01:12He's also super hot.
01:14But I like, I was crushing pretty hard.
01:18And he opened the door and was like, hey.
01:22And I was like really excited.
01:24And I looked pretty hot.
01:25And I was like, hi.
01:28And I hugged him.
01:29And I was like, I almost vomited from the smell of his cigar.
01:34And I realized like, because his hand was on the door, when he pulled away, like he's smoking a cigar.
01:40Like, I mean, I know that people do that.
01:44I just, it was like in your house, like inside.
01:47It's just kind of weird.
01:48And then like, I couldn't, like I couldn't get past the, I couldn't get past it.
01:54You know, like, because it, I just feel like it's so gross.
01:58Like, I just think smoking is disgusting.
02:01I, it makes me, it really physically makes me pretty nauseous.
02:05It was such a big red flag for me.
02:07Like, and so I spent the whole time being like, okay, just don't say anything.
02:10And he poured me a glass of wine.
02:12And I was like trying to relax.
02:13But all I can smell is this disgusting cigar.
02:17And so I really shouldn't, in hindsight, like maybe should have said something.
02:22But I didn't want to sound like a jerk.
02:24I mean, he smoked the cigar in his kitchen while he was like prepping stuff.
02:28He was smoking the cigar over the grill.
02:30Like, bleh.
02:31Ew.
02:32While he's, yeah, smoking while he's smoking.
02:33So inside the house is interesting, yeah.
02:36Yeah.
02:37I really hate smoking.
02:38And so I, yeah.
02:40But you never said anything to him about it.
02:42Yeah, I didn't.
02:43Okay.
02:44All right.
02:44Well, listen, I'm going to tell you something, Amanda.
02:46We actually have Ricky on the phone with us as well.
02:50And listen, if you don't like smoking, you don't like smoking.
02:52So I can see why that would turn you off.
02:54We want to bring him back on and get his side of things.
02:56Would you mind if we did that, Amanda?
02:59Um, no.
03:00Okay, cool.
03:02Ricky, are you there?
03:03I can't believe what I'm hearing.
03:05But I don't know.
03:09Amanda, I thought that everything was,
03:10that's how we were getting along great.
03:12I can't believe everything is, is just kind of, you know,
03:15I mean, ghosting after just a cigar.
03:17That's, that seems ridiculous.
03:19I mean, I guess it sounds that way.
03:22Like, it sounds ridiculous.
03:24But, like, I felt like, I don't know.
03:27I just couldn't even.
03:29I mean, I had the patio doors open.
03:31And, like, you got to appreciate, like, this is my house.
03:34Like, this is just, it was at the end of the week.
03:36You know, I just, I wasn't smoking during the week.
03:39But I do like to unwind right at the end of the week with just a cigar.
03:42It's like, like, you're smoking while you were making dinner.
03:46And I'm just kind of like, whoa, what?
03:48Is this, like, the norm?
03:50Well, the patio doors are open.
03:51I mean, the whole, you know, it's, it's, everything's open to the air.
03:55It's wafting out.
03:55You know, it's not getting, you know, it's not indoors exactly.
03:59Like, it's, it's, it's getting out in the open.
04:01I guess I just thought, like, old men usually smoke their cigars after the meal.
04:05And, like, I don't know.
04:06Didn't you want to have that mouth prepped or, like, something else?
04:10Well, I mean, like I said, I enjoy stogie at the end of the week.
04:14You know, it's one thing that kind of allows me to decompress.
04:17You know, I got a stressful job.
04:19And so, it's just, you know, it's routine for me.
04:22I didn't realize that it was going to be such a, such a big deal.
04:25I don't know.
04:25It's just, like, you smelled like a cigar.
04:28Your house smelled like a cigar.
04:30Everything was cigar.
04:31And it was, like, all I could, I'm sorry.
04:33I feel like I'm being super dramatic.
04:36No, no, I mean.
04:36It is, you know, we did hit it up, you know, and, like.
04:41I, I, yeah, and, and that's, like, I understand that everybody has the preferences and everything.
04:45But you got to appreciate, I mean, this is, it was my house.
04:48Yeah, of course, it's your house.
04:49It, of course.
04:50But, like, I just felt like you didn't even ask if I was okay with it.
04:54Amanda, what if Ricky were not to smoke around you?
04:57Would you be cool hanging out with him again?
05:00I, yeah, I mean, yeah, I guess, yes.
05:05Well, yeah, I mean, I, I would hope so.
05:08Because we, I, I was really, you know, enjoying the week that we had and the, the texts and everything.
05:12I was really excited for you to come over and for me to cook for you, so.
05:16All right, so, Ricky, you're cool with not smoking around Amanda then?
05:19I mean, I will, okay.
05:23Like she said, you know, I'll, I'll save a cigar for after, after dinner or what have you and make sure it's okay by her.
05:31Um, and I know it, it definitely sounds like it, it doesn't, uh.
05:36Will you, like, shower, use mouthwash?
05:38Like, I mean, I really, I really hate it.
05:41Whatever, I, I do like, I like you and I've very much enjoyed our time so far.
05:46So, yeah, if that's what it takes, I will, uh, make sure to, you know, put it down before I see you, take a shower, mouthwash, uh, you know, a little bit of cologne.
05:57Okay.
05:57Wow, look at that.
05:59All right, well, it looks like you guys are hanging out again, which is great.
06:02Congratulations on that.
06:03Um, we made it happen.
06:05We are going to do this.
06:06We're going to put you guys on hold.
06:07We're going to get your info.
06:08We're going to set you guys up on another date.
06:09We're going to pay for it.
06:11And, uh, good luck to you guys.
06:14Thanks.
06:14Well, hey, thank you.
06:15Wow, look at this.
06:17All right.
06:18Well, hang on for me, okay?
06:19Yep.
06:20Yep.
06:21There's no way that's going to last because PR2 is on them.
06:26Well, I'm saying because she is grossed out by the smell and he's like, oh, I'll make
06:33sure I check with her first.
06:35It's going to be one of those situations where he's going to be like, hey, I'm going to have
06:37a cigar.
06:38Are you sure you're okay with it?
06:39And she'll be like, no, I'm not okay with it.
06:42And yeah.
06:43Well, you're trying to change somebody out of the gate.
06:45Right.
06:45That's never a good idea.
06:46It's not going to happen.
06:47I'm going to have a cigar.
06:48I'm going to have a cigar.
