00:00i have one more question and i'm uh i was like i don't know if i should ask lizzie this but i

00:06gotta ask you always do this and i almost expect it so yeah lay it on me god okay okay the do not

00:14disturb song i get this question all the time and i try to give the background story and i said but

00:21you know what they say about a rumor it has a thousand tongues so i gotta ask and i was like

00:26i next time i ask i talk to lizzie i'll ask her and we'll see if it's true

00:31apparently it was something in a dutch hotel room uh-huh um so so long story short um which it was

00:42long uh you know we all stayed up to about five in the morning with that one um uh we had a a wonderful

00:49rock show um and uh i met some very uh beautiful people and ended up inviting them to my uh hotel

00:59room which in that particular show um they had put me up in a in a nice suite so it it was it was

01:08implied that um that post-show activities were welcome but we weren't really sure so i was just

01:14like hey i you know i have a bottle of wine and there's some tequila and uh and some things and uh

01:21one thing led to another and had an uh amazing threesome in holland that i ended up literally like

01:27two days later um uh i was writing the song i i didn't have i didn't have my guitar out with me i

01:33had a synth keyboard that was the only thing i could like hook up at the time and so i ended up writing

01:38this song do not disturb um uh on the road about it and then i didn't tell anybody for a while i

01:46didn't show it to the guys because i felt like oh my god they're gonna be like seriously and uh and

01:52then then one of the one of the days i forget like because uh my my bass player is a fantastic

01:57uh keyboardist so he and i kind of geek out over you know moke synthesizers and all that so he was

02:03asking me he's like oh have you done anything like lately i'm like well i kind of did and i wrote

02:08this really weird song do you like do you want to hear it but don't laugh kind of thing and he's

02:12like yeah let me hear it and um and so i showed him do not disturb and he's like dude that could be

02:19a baseline yes we found bound you know and i'm like love it okay and so and and i'm like but did

02:25you hear the subject matter and he's like yeah and and and i'm like what do you think he's like well

02:32we didn't really know what was happening that night but we know you disappeared so was that

02:38this night you know or was that like it's funny i've had these are the this was not a one-time

02:44thing um so like we had to like narrow it down but uh but yeah and so it was it's kind of wonderful

02:50uh to be again a testament to my guys who trust me with words and now i i still don't understand why

02:56you are you are truly with words but but it's but you know basically to be in that moment you

03:03kind of realize that all of your guys are like hey you're speaking your truth yeah and you feel

03:08comfortable enough putting that out in the universe do it so uh so yeah this was me uh kind of you know

03:15letting people in a little bit it could have been worse you could have woke up next to me in a diaper

03:20yeah you know it wasn't the first it won't be the last guys uh i'm sure there are you know there

03:30there are multiple people that have that experience and uh and i have yet you know what honestly i'll

03:35put that down on my bucket list you know that that keeps uh i keep crossing stuff off and one of

03:40those things that yeah that that when when that happens to me i will call you up and be like um

03:47so uh what is your experience how did you handle this right i packed a bunch of baby for a baking

03:54soda for this trip i'm going to see i'm going to see gotts into baby wipes the baby wipes
