00:00Hi Nicole, how you doing? Good, Tim McGraw. I mean, listen, thank you so much for taking some time to call in and chit-chat with us.
00:07My pleasure, glad to. And, you know, I would have loved for you to stop by when you were in town on Monday, but I'll forgive you.
00:13Oh, well, you know, it was the coolest thing because I had two private gigs that had been booked for a while.
00:20One was Monday morning and one was Tuesday night, not knowing that the Phillies were going to end up in the NLCS.
00:27And so I was looking forward to going to Philly, having some cheesesteaks, hanging out with my brothers.
00:33And I spent the whole day Monday afternoon with my brother at his firehouse down in Chinatown.
00:38Yeah, and I actually live right down the street, so that's technically my firehouse.
00:42So when they pull the fire alarm in my building, I'm always like, is Mark here? Is Tim's brother here?
00:48He's the good-looking guy that shows up. He's way better looking than I am.
00:53No, no, no.
00:54But, yeah, it was fun to hang out with those guys, and they made some cheesesteaks, and I had lunch with the whole fire crew.
01:01And then later that night, we got to go to the ballgame with my brother Mark and my other brother Matthew.
01:08We got to hang out, and what a game it was. And then I had a private show the next day, so it worked out perfect.
01:13You know what was so crazy, Tim, is that, so I'm on the air from 2 to 7, so I get on the air, and, you know, obviously we're playing Standing Room Only.
01:20We're going to talk about that in a second because it's such a massive hit.
01:22And I literally go, you know, listen, like, the Phillies are killing it.
01:26I have a feeling we're going to be seeing Tim McGraw in Philly soon.
01:29And then fast forward, like, 30 minutes later, I open Instagram, and I see your brother's post that you were there.
01:35And I was like, oh, my God, I manifested him today.
01:39It was fun. It reminded me.
01:42Last year we were all at the first game of the World Series.
01:44Yeah.
01:45When we were jacking home runs off the bat.
01:47And it reminded me of the energy of that night.
01:49It was, that place is electric.
01:51It's got to be the best stadium to play baseball in in the whole country.
01:54Well, you know what's so crazy is that, obviously, Standing Room Only, you wrote that as this serious song, and it's so good and so meaningful.
02:02But yet, it's so fitting for Citizens Bank Park because it literally is Standing Room Only there.
02:08Yeah, let's make it the theme for the rest of the NLCS and for the World Series.
02:14Yes.
02:15So, really, I want to talk about, I got to talk about your tour because you're going to be back in Philly, too.
02:19But do you feel that, like, if they do make it to the World Series, or maybe I should say when they make it to the World Series, that you'll come back for a game or two?
02:26I'm hoping. I got my fingers crossed.
02:28Okay, good.
02:29I hope it worked out.
02:29I'm hoping it, too.
02:30So, you were hanging out with the Kelsey brothers, obviously, Jason and Travis, on Monday at the game.
02:36And they had pictures all over the place, and they talked about you on the New Heights podcast.
02:40Did you know that?
02:41I didn't know that, but it was a lot of fun hanging out with those guys.
02:43What nice guys.
02:44Really nice guys.
02:45But I felt like I was, like, 12 years old standing next to this big guy, man.
02:54And, you know, I'm six foot tall.
02:57I was standing next to those guys, and I felt like, man, I'm, like, 5'3".
03:00I know.
03:01It's so funny when you meet professional athletes.
03:04You're like, oh, that's why you're a professional athlete, because you're 6'5".
03:09Yeah, well, I'm saying he's 6'8", when I look at that.
03:12Oh, wow.
03:13Yeah, it was fun.
03:13And they talked about you on the podcast, and they just said it was so cool to meet you.
03:16And my first reaction was, did Travis sing Tim McGraw-Taylor's version to you when he met you?
03:22No, I don't think he knew it.
03:25He has to learn.
03:26I mean, that's, like, Taylor's first most iconic song is you.
03:29I know, I know, but, you know, Taylor's first song was me, and then we did a song called How We Don't Care Together.
