00:00Well, Taylor sounds super sweet, and she's excited about her date with John.

00:04They went to Rocco's Tacos, and then she went to his softball game after that.

00:09And so they've kind of seen each other twice, but now there's been no communication.

00:14Right, because I asked her, I'm like, are you guys still texting back and forth?

00:17Is he communicating with you?

00:18And she's like, he was being super flirty over texts, and now she's like, nothing.

00:23Well, we do have him on hold right now, and he's kind of confused on what's going on, which I totally get.

00:28So let's bring him on right now and see if we can kind of clear some things up.

00:31John, you there?

00:33Yeah, hey, what's going on?

00:35Hey, John, thanks for hanging on there for a second.

00:37I know you're confused right now.

00:38I'm just going to kind of lay this out for you.

00:40We do something called a second date update, and we talk to people about dates they went on.

00:44And there's a date that you actually went on with this girl, Taylor.

00:49You guys went to Rocco's Tacos, we heard.

00:52And then she even came and supported you at your softball game.

00:55But now hasn't heard anything from you since that day.

00:58And is kind of confused on what's happening.

01:02I can't even believe you got me on the phone for this right now.

01:05This is getting to be way too much.

01:10I mean, I understand this calling you is a weird thing.

01:13No, but this is even more over the top.

01:20Yeah, we did go out to Rocco's Tacos.

01:24It was nice, you know.

01:26But while we were at our date, you know, we got to talking.

01:29And I happened to mention that I play in a softball league on Monday nights.

01:33And it happened to be at a park near where she lives.

01:36You know, she told me where she lives.

01:37I'm like, oh my gosh, I play softball right by you on Monday nights.

01:40Well, fast forward to Monday night, and she just shows up at the softball game without

01:45letting me know or anything.

01:47I all of a sudden hear cheering from the fans, and I look over, and it's her, like, screaming

01:51my name in the middle of the softball game.

01:53It was so awesome.

01:54Number one fan.

01:56Yeah.

01:56But that's kind of a personal thing, you know.

01:58That's my Monday night with the guys.

02:00You know, I play softball, and, you know, I did invite her, and she just randomly shows

02:04up.

02:05Yeah, so there was no invite.

02:07There was definitely no invite.

02:08Absolutely not.

02:09And I just happened to mention that I play at a park.

02:12Maybe she thought it was an invite.

02:14Maybe she's like, maybe that was a hint.

02:16Because you did say to her, well, I play softball right down the street from where you live.

02:24I'm just saying.

02:26It wasn't even just that, okay?

02:28So we did go to Rocco's Tacos on a date.

02:32While we were messaging, though, I did happen to mention, and this is before we had our first

02:37date, that I was a bartender, and I, you know, I work at a bar in town.

02:41Come to find out, my manager told me after I explained the whole situation and showed him

02:46a picture that she had come and tried to basically see me at the bar even before our first date.

02:53He recognized her and said, oh, my gosh, she was here the other night.

02:58She's kind of scoping out the scene.

03:00Yeah.

03:01So before our first date, she had come almost stalking me and was, like, looking at me and

03:08staring at me while I'm working.

03:11But she didn't say anything to you that night when she was coming by?

03:14No, and I guess at that point, you know, when it was just that, okay, you know, she's interested.

03:20She wants to make sure I'm, you know, a real guy and actually work where I say I work, you

03:25know, so I kind of just let it go.

03:27But then the softball thing, to show up uninvited to that, and, you know, my teammates are even

03:33asking, like, who is that?

03:35Is that your girlfriend?

03:36And I'm just like, no, that is not my girlfriend.

03:39Okay.

03:39There's a lot going on here.

03:41John, and I understand what you're saying about you finding out that she came to your

03:47work beforehand, and that wasn't a red flag to you at all?

03:50Not so much a red flag, just, I don't know.

03:53Again, I think maybe at the time, I thought she wanted to make sure I was who I said I

03:58was and actually had a job and was working and, you know, was just doing her reconnaissance,

04:03you know?

04:03Okay.

04:04Reconnaissance.

04:05All right.

04:05Well, listen, John, we actually have Taylor on the phone with us as well.

04:09And so I want to bring her on, just kind of get her take on this.

04:14Taylor, are you there?

04:16Yeah, I'm here.

04:17Taylor, I just want to get this straight.

04:19So before you guys ever went on a date, you actually swung by his work to see whatever,

04:24to see who he was or check him out, and didn't say anything to him.

04:28I mean, I wasn't sitting there like a stalker staring at him, like with, you know, staring

04:32daggers at him or whatever.

04:34It was just, I kind of want to check out who you're going to go out with.

04:37Okay.

04:37All right.

04:38Understood.

04:38And then you guys went to Rocco's Tacos.

04:40He said that was a great date.

04:42Yeah.

04:42But then you showed up kind of unexpectedly at the softball game?

04:46Well, it's right by my house.

04:47And I'm so confused right now because, like, I thought it'd be like a fun surprise.

04:51Like, I, you know, dressed up all cute.

04:52I thought it'd be kind of, you know, you said you wanted to see me again.

04:55So I was like, okay.

04:56So I just don't understand, like, why all of a sudden you're throwing around the word stalker

05:02when you said you play softball by my house.

05:04That was just in mid-conversation.

05:07You told me where he lived and it just, I was like, oh my gosh, that's right by the

05:12park that I play softball.

05:13In no way was that an invitation for you to just show up.

05:17I was showing interest and being supportive.

05:19And like, I'm like, why am I being vilified for that right now?

05:23Clearly you were showing interest, but I think just too much interest too quickly.

05:27Okay.

05:28So let me ask you this, John.

05:29I mean, you did say you had a great time at Rocco's Tacos.

05:32Okay.

05:32So you had a great date.

05:33So when you guys do hang out, it's a good time.

05:35Would you be willing to hang out with her again?

05:37And if it was planned and you knew what was happening?

05:40Was it behind your back?

05:42I think I'm just not interested.

05:44Well, after such a good date, you want to throw this away.

06:23I almost feel kind of bad for her because it seems like her intentions weren't bad.
