00:17And it was an open-ended question to San.
00:19And, you know, he is the 16th.
00:22I think he's tied for the 16th in terms of annual salary, highest paid edge rusher in the NFL.
00:27And he just got done going through how he's a top five guy.
00:30You know, he kind of feels disrespected.
00:31His last year he wasn't in the conversation in some people's minds in terms of defensive player of the year.
00:36What he did in the regular season was probably the best performance he goes ahead from an edge rusher in amazing years.
00:42And then, of course, to follow it up in the postseason.
00:44I mean, that NFC championship game was, that was an iconic kind of performance he had.
00:49So I think it's, yeah, I mean, he's one year into a three-year.
00:52He's in the second year now of a three-year deal.
00:54So, you know, there were a lot of people who said that, there were some people, there's a few.
00:58I remember actually former Eagles president Joe Banner was one of them saying,
01:02when it's all said and done, this will be the best contract that a team has signed a free agent in that past offseason in terms of what they got.
01:12You know, it wasn't like a, quote-unquote, a team-friendly.
01:14But I was just surprised that he didn't get as many offers as he did.
01:17So he signed the deal.
01:19I understand people are like, oh, he signs the deal, you know, forget about it.
01:21He used to go out there, just perform, just perform.
01:23It's not that simple.
01:24These are not guaranteed contracts.
01:25These guys got to try and get as much as they can in their careers.
01:28Who knows what's going to happen?
01:29And I think the way it will be resolved probably is like maybe something, incentives, something, you know, give him a little bit, you know, not obviously.

01:42They did with Brandon Graham several years ago.
01:44Now, Brandon didn't show up for OTAs, which were voluntary, but he was, the purpose of it was that he wanted a new deal.
01:53And finally, Eagle said, hey, get in here in the camp and we'll do something for you before the start of season.
01:57And it happened.
01:58They gave him something based upon how much, you know, the performance, how many sacks he had.
02:02And I think that's something you may see them do for a right of care.
02:05They're not going to tear up the contract and restructure one year in, but I could see them doing something like that to make him happy.

02:12I think, you know, he didn't come out and say, oh, you know, I'm unhappy, but, you know, he's like, it is what it is.
