00:17It's the second loss in three games that the Yankees had to the Colorado Rockies, a team
00:23that they should have beaten.
00:24For starters, Garrett Cole pitched well, six innings, struck out 11, just one run.
00:30But, the Yankees' bullpen had an awful game.
00:33First, they blew a 3-1 lead in the 8th inning, the game turned into 5-3, but the Yankees
00:41actually scored two runs in the 9th to force it.
00:44They manufactured a couple of runs.
00:46To force it into extra innings.
00:48So, okay, that's good.
00:50Then the Yankees got out to a 7-5 lead in the 11th.
00:54Okay, fantastic.
00:55They forced the game into extra innings, they get the 7-5 lead, and then,
01:00two home runs in the bottom of the 11th.
01:03One was a two-run shot, one was a solo that ended the game, and the Rockies end up beating
01:08the Yankees 8-7.
01:09As we say, even though they are still over 500, 50 and 44, they are now in last place in the
01:18AL East with the Red Sox.
