00:09Yankees starter Johnny Brito looked great as he threw five and two-thirds innings, giving up no runs.

00:17Anthony Volpe hit his 10th home run of his rookie season,
00:22and outfielder Billy McKinney slugged his third homer for the Yanks, who improved to 41-33.
00:27The Mets lost to the Astros 10-8, despite Pete Alonzo crushing his 23rd home run of the year.
00:36The Mets were still out-hit by Houston.
00:38Met reliever Dominic Leone gave up four runs in his appearance.
00:42He gets the loss as the Mets fall to 34-40 for the season.
00:49The Phillies game against the Braves was postponed due to rain.
00:52Makeup date for that game is September 11th.
00:55Basketball, a big three-team trade last night that was between the Celtics, Wizards, and Grizzlies,
01:04where the Kristaps Porzingis, former Knick, will now go to the Celtics,
01:10and they have traded their longtime point guard, really their team leader, Marcus Smart.
01:15He will go to the Grizzlies, and then guard Tyus Jones will go to the Wizards.
01:21Other players and draft picks are involved as well, but those are really the superstars of the trade right there.
01:28So a big shakeup in the NBA.
01:31And then finally, the NFL trying to crack down on gambling.
01:34They believe that they have now officially an issue.
01:39In the offseason, which is weird, they've been finding about more and more players gambling,
01:45and they're really trying to crack down, but it's becoming a big-time problem for the NFL.
01:51This is a gambling crackdown in the NFL for players, not people like me.
01:56No, on the players.

01:58Number one, these are the six key rules of the gambling policy.
02:04One, don't bet on the NFL.
02:06Two, don't gamble at your team facility while traveling for a road game or staying at a team hotel.
02:13Three, don't have someone bet for you.
02:16Four, don't share team inside info.
02:19Five, don't enter a sports book during the season.
02:22And six, don't play daily fantasy football.
02:25So they've spelled out the rules that they don't want the guys to do,
02:29because fantasy football these days, it's money.
02:33You know, it's gambling.
02:34It's like legit gambling.
02:36I know.
02:36I'd never win it.
02:37It sucks.
02:38I sure wish I did better.
02:40And obviously, these guys can, you know, talk to a couple teammates, maybe a couple competitors.

02:49And then they can put in, you know, thousands of dollars and make their fantasy bets.

02:56And they shouldn't be betting on the sport you're playing in, right?

03:02And what's crazy is we've seen like two dozen cases of NFL players now in the fantasy football gambling.
03:10So it's a problem for Roger Goodell, the NFL commissioner who doesn't know how to deal with stuff.
03:14Sucks anyway, so he's going to screw this up for about a decade.
