00:00All right, we're hoping to make some love happen today

00:02with our 7-15 second date update.

00:04And we talked to Amber just a few minutes ago,

00:08and she talked to us about a pretty good date

00:09that she went on with this guy named Corey.

00:11It sounds like the conversation went really well,

00:13and she really seems to like him.

00:14Yeah, like a really, a lot like him.

00:17A lot.

00:17You know what I mean?

00:18A really lot.

00:19Yeah, so she just wants to know what is going on.

00:22And I asked her, are you sure you're okay?

00:24Because whatever he says, you're going to be fine with.

00:26And she said, yep, I just want to know why he hasn't called.

00:28Yep, she's totally cool with it.

00:30Now, you just told me Corey is on hold?

00:33He is on hold.

00:34Okay, all right.

00:34Let's bring him back, and let's see what we can get out of him.

00:38Corey, are you there?

00:40Yes, hello.

00:41Hi, good morning.

00:42Thanks so much for taking our call this morning.

00:45We just wanted to talk to you for a few minutes.

00:47You went out on a date recently with a girl named Amber

00:50that she met online.

00:51She told us that you went to CASC.

00:53And you guys had a really good date,

00:54but for some reason, date number two is not in the future for you.

01:00What happened on the date?

01:01Why aren't you calling her?

01:02Oh, yeah.

01:04So Amber's really, really nice.

01:06She's very, very pretty.

01:08And our date was really, I had a real good time.

01:11Um, I just kind of realized she and I were just way too different

01:18for us to really be the bull.

01:21Okay, different in what way?

01:23I mean, almost every way, you know, like,

01:28and I know people always say, oh, opposites attract.

01:31However, it's just kind of like, like me,

01:34I got a big Ford F-150.

01:38This is a monster.

01:39It's a gas guzzler.

01:41She drives an electric car because she cares about the environment.

01:46And I have no problem with that.

01:48It's just so different than what I'm into.

01:52I don't know.

01:53I'm not buying this.

01:54I mean, that's the reason.

01:55I mean, what else is there?

01:56She, she doesn't really drink very much,

01:59which is very nice.

02:01And yeah, I respect that.

02:02I like to party and get hammered on the weekend.

02:08But man, yeah, I go, you know, I go nuts with it.

02:14You know, I have a great time and, and, and I know what it's like to be around a person

02:20that doesn't really drink and you're, and you do way too much.

02:22I'm him.

02:24I do too much.

02:24My goodness.

02:26Well, at least you know that.

02:27So that's it just because she drives a electric car and doesn't drink.

02:31I mean, that's not really.

02:32Oh, I mean, yeah, that's the thing that there's a, there's a few things and none of them are bad,

02:37but like, um, she's, she's got two cats and two dogs and I'm allergic to pets.

02:44All right.

02:46So that, and I'm pretty allergic to pets.

02:50Like I'm not, I need an EpiPen bad, but if you brought cat hair into my house,

02:55I'll be feeling it the next day.

02:57Right.

02:57Okay.

02:58So you're just, you're just saying there's a little bit of too many, too many distract,

03:02too many opposites, huh?

03:03Yeah.

03:04And, and just, uh, I see a lot of those incompatibilities that are going to be problems later down the

03:11line, you know?

03:13Well, um, I guess, I mean, everybody has their reasons.

03:17Um, Corey, Amber actually reached out to us and she wanted to kind of hear it from you,

03:22why you weren't calling her and taking her out on a second date.

03:26So she's been on the other line listening to everything you just said.

03:30And, um, Amber, I'm going to bring you back on.

03:33Do you have anything to say to Corey about why he's not asking you out on his second

03:36date?

03:38I'm just really sad, you know, because I just really like him.

03:42And I, I know, I know it's funny because we talked about how we're so opposite, but

03:47you know, I love animals and I don't drink, but I don't want that to keep me from meeting

03:53a guy and, and Corey's really nice and I'm just, just sad.

03:59Well, hey, hey, you know, I, you know, and I, you know,

04:02and I really appreciate all that nice stuff you're saying, then you're a really great

04:05person.

04:06You should be the way that you are and the person you are because you're great.

04:12It's just, you should, you know, we should find people that we're more compatible with

04:18and that we have a, and that we have a lot more in common with.

04:23Because one big thing too is that she, she's a vegetarian, doesn't eat meat.

04:29And I grew up barbecuing.

04:32It's all I love to do when I'm not getting drunk.

04:37I'm actually a vegan, but I can introduce you to soy cheese because it's really good

04:45for you.

04:48Gotcha.

04:49See?

04:50No, thank you.

04:51Okay.

04:53I guess I can kind of see that you guys maybe are a little bit opposite.

04:56Yeah.

04:57I get it.

04:59And you know what, Corey, I got to say that I commend you for kind of standing up for what

05:04you want and what you know, and knowing that down the road, this isn't something that you're

05:09going to probably want to bend on.

05:11Just kind of staying true to yourself.

05:13So there is that.

05:14Amber, you did want to know why Corey wasn't, you know, reaching out to you.

05:18This is, you know, he's got a pretty legit reason.

05:21You guys don't really have a lot in common.

05:23Yeah, I do appreciate the honesty, and I do appreciate you guys helping me find out.

05:29I mean, so thank you for that.

05:31I appreciate it.

05:32Yeah, I was kind of hoping maybe that we could talk about this, and maybe we'll just kind

05:36of let it slide, and you guys could try another date, but it doesn't seem, Corey, like you

05:40want to go take Amber out on another date, huh?

05:43No, no thank you.

05:45Okay.
