00:00Well, Tammy has reached out to us today about her date with Brett. It's a 7-15 second date update
00:04and she really wants to see him again. She said they they got along great and she really really
00:10likes this one. Yeah, and she's very curious as to why he hasn't responded back to her.
00:16I actually have him on hold. I've told him why we're calling him. Okay, so he is
00:22he's ready to go. All right, perfect, Kevin. Let's do it. Let's bring him back on. We have
00:26Brett on hold. Good morning, Brett. How you doing? Hey, how's it going? I'm well. Well,
00:31I appreciate your time this morning. Kevin kind of gave you a gist of it, but we want to ask you
00:35about this girl, Tammy, that you went on a date with. She's really into you, really wants to see
00:39again, and is kind of just bummed she hasn't heard from you. I mean, do we really have to drag this
00:43out? Do we have to go through all this? Like, I mean, well, I mean, yes. I mean, when you say drag
00:49it out, I mean, we just wanted to ask you a couple of questions. I mean, is that okay? I mean, if we
00:55got to, yeah, I mean, but I feel, you know, it's kind of like one of those things. I kind
00:59of feel bad about it, but. Brett, well, I will tell you, obviously, we got your number from
01:03Tammy, and she wants to know. She asked us to find out, so I wouldn't feel bad. What's
01:07the deal? I mean, I don't know. Remember, like, back in COVID, like, we all, everybody was wiping
01:13everything down, and everything was, you know, we're washing our hands every other second, and,
01:18you know, she's kind of like, she's, you know, wiping everything down, and, I mean, we went
01:25to Mission Barbecue in Tampa, and she was wiping down the table and the seat, and then
01:30she was handing it off to me. It's like, we were cleaning before we sat down, you know,
01:35we were cleaning, and then, you know, I mean, but it got worse. It was like, she wiped her
01:39silverware, and, like, the top of the glasses, you know, like, kind of like, I mean, the server
01:46saw her craziness and was like, this woman's crazy. I mean, it's a bit much, you know?
01:51I mean, I get it. We all don't want germs, but she's still there.
01:55Well, obviously, some people are a little bit more worried about germs than others, but
01:59you felt like this was a little excessive?
02:01A little, yeah.
02:03They leave you wipes at the grocery store to wipe off the handle. I mean, I thought
02:07everybody did that.
02:08But do you do that?
02:09Absolutely, I do.
02:10See, I don't.
02:11Oh, really?
02:12The top of your glasses and your silverware, like,
02:14I have wiped silverware, but I've never done glasses, though.
02:18Yeah, that's, yeah, I get it.
02:20All right, well, Brett, I don't know if it's that bad of a thing to be extra careful, but
02:25if it becomes a scene, I kind of get what you're saying. We actually have Tammy on the
02:29phone, Brett, and I want to bring her back on. She may be cleaning now. Tammy.
02:33Yeah, I'm here.
02:34So, obviously, you heard what Brett had to say, so you're a little bit of a clean person,
02:39huh?
02:39Yeah, I mean, I think that's a good thing, you know? Like, it should make you happy that
02:45being with somebody that's a clean person, you know, it's not really something to be
02:49ashamed of. Why would you care that I'm a clean person?
02:52It's not about being ashamed. It's like, it's fine, but it's really, you're a little overboard,
02:57like a little OCD about it. It's a little crazy. I mean, like, I mean, for, I mean,
03:00I'm even thinking of more things, like, after we had our hands on the menu, you know,
03:05it's like, you threw a wipe, like, gave me a wipe, and I'm like, what's this for? And
03:08you're like, oh, we just had our hands on the menu. I'm thinking, like...
03:11Well, they are pretty dirty, though, Brett.
03:13Yeah, menus are gross. Think of all the snotty kids that, you know, touch it and sticky,
03:18and menus are disgusting anyway.
03:21I know, but it's not, but it's not like, I don't know, I don't think it's such a big
03:24deal, and I feel like it's overboard. Like, I look at our future, and I go, hey, what's
03:29this going to be like? Are you going to, like, wipe down the sheets before we go to bed,
03:32or are you going to, like, what's going on? No, but I mean, think about it. We're coming
03:35into flu season, and they're saying it's going to be, like, the worst flu season ever because
03:39of COVID, and I mean, I'm just being safe. I really don't want to catch this thing again,
03:44and, you know, it's nasty, and these germs are everywhere. I just feel like we need to
03:49protect ourselves. I mean, I don't think it's a bad thing to want to be clean and sanitary
03:54and have good personal hygiene. I think, I mean, a lot of people really don't, and it's
03:58gross. It's overboard. It was crazy overboard. I mean,
04:02I'm, you know, telling my friends about it, and they were, like, calling you Mrs. Clean.
04:07It's like, it's just, you know. I don't think that's a bad thing. I'd be proud of that one.
04:12I don't know. I just don't, I don't, I don't see what the problem is, and I can't understand,
04:16like, are you just not a clean person? Like, should I be wiping you down? I mean,
04:22whoa. That makes me question your personal hygiene. I mean, I'm pretty clean, but, I mean,
04:28you're overboard, so it's a little bit too much for me. I gotta agree. I mean, honestly,
04:32I, I don't mind somebody who's overly, overly clean. I mean, that's not a bad thing, but I
04:39guess, Brett, it's just a little bit too much for you. You wipe, you wipe down the silverware
04:43when you go into the, when you go to a restaurant? Depends on the restaurant. I will say, she does,
04:49the first thing she does every morning is she cleans off the desk in here and all the,
04:53the, the keyboard, the mouse every day. I do. You got me, girl. See?
05:00Girl power. I love it. Maybe you should date her. I think we would get along pretty well,
05:05though, Tammy. I know, right? Brett, if her biggest sin in your mind is that she cleans too much,
05:13I feel like you've won when it comes to, you know, things you're looking for that may be wrong.
05:17Are you just really going to be a deal breaker? Yes. All right. That's unfortunate. I had a
05:21really good time. Are you sure you don't want to go back out with her again, Brett? We could set
05:25you up somewhere. You don't feel like you have to wipe down the table in the booth. I don't feel
05:30like I have to wipe down the table in the booth anywhere. I'm okay with it. I'm okay with it. Okay.
05:34Well, um, Brett, uh, I appreciate your honesty, I guess. And Tammy, you keep doing what you're
05:39doing. There's no reason for you to change, right? I don't know. I don't feel like I should change
05:43myself for other people. Germs are germs. Great point. Great point.
05:47Well, I'm sorry this one didn't work out, you guys. It is what it is. Absolutely right. Well,
05:53Brett, thanks for your time. Tammy, thanks for your time. You guys take care. All right. Have a
05:57good day. Bye. Bye-bye. Thank you. Thank you guys. Listen, there's two things, two schools of
06:03thought on this. I, I feel like if you are going to be overboard and so worried about it, uh, maybe
06:10you shouldn't go out. Right. And that's one thing. I don't think that's the case with, with Tammy. I feel
06:14like she's just being cleanly. She wants to wipe down menus. She wants to do that. That's
06:18great. But if you start reaching for someone else's silverware and wiping it down, then
06:21that might be a little distracting on a first date. You're going, okay, what are you doing?
06:24Because now your hands are touching my, if you're really a germ. She's being nice. She
06:27is being nice. But then the next thing you know, she's reaching across and she's dabbing
06:30a little something out of the corner of your mouth. Oh, we got a little cookie there or whatever
06:34it is. Well, again, that's just being nice. If you did that to me, that would be odd.
06:38I told you you've had a thing in your, in your mouth. That's one thing to say you have
06:41something in your mouth, but the other thing to reach around and just take the liberty of
06:44here, give me that menu. Give me that silverware. It could be a little overboard, I think, but
06:48I didn't think she was overboard. She just says, Hey, I like to keep things clean. I don't
06:52think that's a bad thing at all. I mean, those menus are pretty gross. They are gross.
06:56Uh, I want to see what you think though. 800-992-1099, 800-992-1099. Would this been a deal breaker
07:01for you? Was she overboard? Would that have been distracting to you? We want to know
07:05right now. Hit us up. 800-992-1099. Here's one of your QIK guitar pool artists, Jimmy Allen
07:10down home.
