00:13managed to escape during a home invasion and called 911 and that helped police catch the

00:21suspect in the act. This happened in Dearborn Heights and here's the story of what went down

00:29from WXYZ TV. Take a listen. Well, Dearborn Heights say this is an isolated incident, but a serious one.

00:35This 77-year-old woman lives alone and these two armed men forced their way inside her home.

00:41This is a kind of wake-up call for the whole neighborhood. A quiet street in Dearborn Heights

00:45woken up by police sirens after two armed suspects broke into a woman's home. But Farouk Haraji's

00:51family was woken up earlier by that 77-year-old woman banging on their door. She didn't panic too much.

00:57She was able to stay alert. She used their phone to call 911 with descriptions of the suspects

01:02who told her they were armed and to stay put. Haraji says she was able to play sick and pretend

01:07to use the bathroom. So she said she had to go to the bathroom? Did she threaten to put her pants?
