00:00Hey, it's Maria here at Drool School with Isaac, who is our Big Heart of the Week.
00:06I'm partnering with Big Hearts for Big Dogs to try to get these babies homes.
00:10There is nothing more than I hate to see dogs in the shelters,
00:13and I believe that they all need to be in a home getting all the love that they can.
00:17Isaac, do you want to treat, buddy?
00:19So gentle.
00:21So this is Isaac. He's about two years old.
00:24And I'm here with Patrick, who is one of the trainers here at Drool School.
00:27Now, you've been working with Isaac.
00:30And what are some of the wonderful things that you can say about him as far as training goes?
00:36He picks everything up quick. He loves to work, being honest.
00:40He loves the treats as well.
00:41Obviously.
00:42He's pretty easy going.
00:43Isaac, do you want another treat? Do you want another one?
00:47So gentle.
00:48It's Dawn here from Drool School.
00:50Isaac absolutely loves to work. He's very treat motivated.
00:53Once he gets comfort, you know, when he gets settled in,
00:58and he's comfortable with his surroundings, there's nothing he won't do for you.
01:02He loves to show off his new skills that he learned in Drool School.
01:06He's really good with other dogs.
01:07Of course, we do slow intro, as we do with every single rescue that we have.
01:11And then once we get through the slow intro, then it's all good.
01:14He tends to take on some of the energy from the other dog.
01:17He absolutely loves toys, loves, loves, loves toys.
01:21But his favorite, if he had a choice, it would be a ball.
01:25He can't get enough of them.
01:26And we do, when we work with him and those resources,
01:29we do take care with that and treat that a little differently.
01:32And we would, of course, help you in the home with Isaac.
01:36We are a lifetime of support for him here at Drool School.
01:39So when he goes to his new home,
01:41we will help him with the integration and the transition into the home.
01:44And we are here for all of his training needs.
01:46So we will train you to train Isaac.
01:48He'll make a great addition.
01:50He loves to snuggle with the kids.
01:52He really likes guys.
01:55Place?
01:56Yes.
01:57So here Isaac is in place.
02:00Now, when you first started working with him,
02:02did he have any training or was all of this brand new?
02:05When we first started working with him,
02:08he had a lot of anxiety.
02:11When the initial foster brought him here,
02:14he wasn't really sure how to dog.
02:16Wasn't really sure what he was supposed to do,
02:18how he was supposed to do it.
02:20And sometimes we can have things that are situational.
02:24So for Isaac, we just need it.
02:27Let's turn around, buddy.
02:27Nobody wants to see your booty.
02:29Come on.
02:30Come on.
02:32Isaac, ready?
02:33Very treat motivated.
02:35Come on, break.
02:36Yes.
02:37Good boy.
02:39Back to your question.
02:40Yeah.
02:41So he has come a long way with training.
02:44He was with another trainer for a few weeks.
02:47And then he's been here.
02:48We've been working with him as well as working with him and his foster.
02:51What a good boy.
02:52So if anybody is interested in adopting him,
02:56where can they find more information and fill out an application?
02:59So you would go to the Big Hearts for Big Dog website.
03:02And we will go ahead and share that link on this post.
03:06Isaac, thank you so much for hanging out with me today, buddy.
03:09Yeah.
03:09Yeah.
03:10Hmm.
