00:00Today, Rupert gives Raggety a party in Rupert and Raggety's Birthday.

00:16There's a little bear that you've never seen before, who's a lot of fun.

00:23Children everywhere, go to love him more and more, he's the number one.

00:30There's a million stories to be told, all the things that he's done.

00:36And he's gonna share them all with you, so come along.

00:44Rupert, Rupert the Bell, everyone sing his name.

00:56Rupert, be a good boy and bring me some sawdust from the shed, says Mrs. Bear, handing Rupert a bowl.

01:11What? Oh, of course. It's Raggety's birthday today, chuckles Rupert.

01:18Yes, and I'm making him his favourite sawdust cake.

01:23Shall I bring some tulip roots? He likes those too.

01:26Yes, please.

01:26Mrs. Bear is very busy.

01:29She's making a birthday tea, plus a special one for Raggety.

01:34I hope you don't get mixed up, Mummy, says Rupert anxiously,

01:37as he puts the bowl of sawdust and the tulip bulbs on the table beside the bowl of cake mixture.

01:43Deary me, so do I, chuckles Mrs. Bear.

01:46Look, I'm making wooden sandwiches, chipboard cakes and hardwood pasties as well.

01:53I've got so much to do, so why don't you go and give Raggety his present now, she suggests.

02:00Rupert picks up Raggety's parcel.

02:05Raggety is sitting in the grass, happily admiring his presents as Rupert comes up.

02:13A saw from Mr. Grimnasty, and a bunch of tasty twigs from the rabbit, and...

02:21Raggety asks curiously, catching sight of the gaily wrapped parcel.

02:27Many happy returns of the day, Raggety, says Rupert cheerfully.

02:31Oh, what a lovely book. I wonder what it tastes like.

02:38Look, there's Humpty Dumpty, says Rupert, and there's the man in the moon.

02:44Oh, and what's that? asks Raggety, eyeing a picture of a little nut tree with great interest.

02:51I'll read it to you.

02:53I had a little nut tree, nothing would it bear, but a silver nutmeg and a golden pear.

03:00The king of Spain's daughter came to visit me, and all for the sake of my little nut tree.

03:05I shall go and grow one just like that, Raggety decides, and he's gone.

03:13Hello, young Rupert, says Mr. Grimnasty cheerfully.

03:17Raggety's enjoying his birthday, isn't he? And I'm looking forward to the party, he adds.

03:21Mrs. Bear is an excellent cook.

03:25Rupert is astonished. He's not used to seeing Mr. Grimnasty in such a good humour.

03:29I've done it, I've done it, cries the little creature, appearing suddenly and nursing a small tree in a pot.

03:45I shall go and smarten myself up, says Raggety happily.

04:00He's got his heart set on the king of Spain's daughter coming to his party, and that's that.

08:08Sighs Tommy Tucker wistfully.

08:51who suddenly jumps up and dances merrily away.

09:04That's Raggedy's cake, cries Mrs. Bear.

09:09And she gives him a large slice.

09:12Oh, dear, Raggedy has hardly eaten anything.

09:16I'll take it to him, says Mr. Grimnasty.

09:18And thank you, Mrs. Bear.

09:20That was a splendid party.

09:22Oh, no, it's going to rain, sighs Edward.
