00:35again and again and again. But I believe that the Singapore that we have will stand together
00:42stronger with mutual respect, mutual reliance and mutual gratitude. In the days to come, I hope to
00:51meet many more of you, especially Ang Mokyo residents, to learn about your lives, your dreams and your

01:03Good morning. I am Victor Lai, Lai Tianfa. As an economist, former policymaker and a business
01:12person, I know the grave challenges we face. It's a different world. I want to uphold the trust
01:22between our people and government. I want our children, your children, to have a fair start
01:30in life. I want our families to lead productive, happy, healthy lives. I want our seniors to live
01:39with purpose and dignity. We must keep Singapore special, going on for many more years to come.
01:46And with that, we need to choose honest, competent and trusted leaders. I ask all Singaporeans to
01:56work with us to keep Singapore special. I want to say that if elected, I will work and always
