00:00Russian Foreign Minister Seger Labrov stressed right that Moscow is ready to facilitate dialogue
00:05between Tehran and Washington and Iran's nuclear program, provided that the legitimate interests
00:10of the Persian country are respected. During a joint press conference with his Iranian counterpart,
00:15Abax Arakshi, Labrov stated they welcomed their readiness to reach objective and mutually
00:20acceptable agreements. Furthermore, the head of the Russian Diplomacy underscored that the best
00:26way to reach a pact is for the negotiations to focus exclusively on nuclear issues. For his part,
00:32Arakshi assured that his country will participate with seriousness and willingness in the talks but
00:37warned that the unrealistic demands of the United States could hinder the process.
00:41I would like to especially note that the Islamic Republic of Iran is fully prepared to seek this
00:55agreement within the framework of the treaty on the nonproliferation of nuclear weapons.
00:59This is a fundamental point that must be taken into account by those who are trying to burden the
01:09negotiations with issues that are not related to nuclear issues and thereby create a very risky
01:14situation. We are ready to help, mediate and play any role that, from Iran's point of view, will be useful
01:24and that will be acceptable to the United States. We proceed from the fact that the only option for an
01:32agreement, as the minister just said, is an agreement exclusively on nuclear issues.
