From destructive hail to landspout tornadoes, a busy day of chasing in Nebraska

AccuWeather's Tony Laubach was on the hunt in Nebraska and Iowa as a severe storm brought large hail, tornadoes and a wall of dust on April 17.

00:00the hail is gonna be the big threat with this probably about two inch or so hail that is what

00:09happened to the window in the midst of all that we were sitting at an off-ramp with a lot of traffic

00:14stepping in front of the dash cam this is some of the smaller hail that's just kind of in the

00:19parking lot where I'm at right now most of this probably an inch inch and a quarter this is not

00:25the biggest by far land spout tornadoes we actually had a couple of these develop it's a dusty mess

00:36you can see how quickly this is moving here I'll get us zoom in shot and kind of look at the the

00:42ground features here and just watch how quickly this dust is overtaking the area here fortunately

00:49nothing tornadic in town so that is some good news but not good news if you didn't get your

00:54car in the shelter here
