Al Arabiya News editor Wissam Keyrouz says Europe has lost trust in the US and now feels the need to rely more on its own strength.

00:03I think there is a big deal of feeling broken in Europe.

00:10They feel that they cannot trust the Americans anymore,

00:13and they are right, because it was very clear,

00:16and they need to be, you know, to take their own fate in their hands,

00:21and they are trying to do this.

00:22At the same time, there is hopefully a chance that the American stance

00:28will somehow get to a more moderate place,

00:32and the Russians, let's not forget that they have the feeling

00:36that they got what they want from America beforehand.

00:40They know that NATO will not be in Ukraine.

00:43They know that somehow they will stay in Ukraine,

00:46and the rest is details, it's time.
