00:06He's someone who has press when he wants it, also press when he doesn't.
00:10He's been using the press in his favor, of course, with all his deals for his wife, Spotify, Netflix.
00:15So what do you make of this in contrast with what he's saying in court?
00:19So I've never worked as a journalist in the UK, but I would think that it would be easy enough, if he was sincere,
00:25he could, through lawyers, approach all the editors at all the papers and news outlets and he could say, let's set some ground rules.
00:36I will cooperate and you will have free reign if I am doing Hollywood celebrity type stuff.
00:44But if I am trying to go about living my life, taking my kids to school or I'm back in the UK visiting friends, then and I'm not a public figure, then hands off.
00:53I mean, he is fifth in line. He's never going to be actually anyone of substance when it comes to ruling from a constitutional monarchy point of view.
01:03But for whatever reason, he doesn't do that.
01:07And I'll give an example. Very famous photograph of his mother in Angola walking through a minefield as she was trying to go, one of her causes,
01:15she was trying to make sure that there was demining that was going on.
01:19So when he was trying to sell his autobiography, he replicated that.
01:25Now, he might have come up with reasons why he was doing it, but journalists are usually cynical.
01:32We connected the dots. Oh, you're selling a book.
01:35This is one of your famous photographs of your mother.
01:37And almost frame for frame, the walk was similar.
01:40So there is that connection because his mother will still sell newspapers.
01:44Obviously, he's hoping that that would help sell autobiographies for himself.
01:51My point is that he has to come to some sort of understanding within himself and presumably with his wife.
01:58What is it that we want?
01:59Because the press will not allow you to take what you want and not give what they expect.
02:05If you're going to play, then you have to play by the rules.
02:08And with British press, there really aren't a lot of rules.
02:12But if you set down the parameters and then you stick to them, I think there could be a way forward.
02:18But he has to be sincere and he's going to have to make the effort.
02:22Because if he doesn't, he's going to be back in court for other cases, no doubt.
