00:08Berhad in June last year. 40-year-old Khairul Akmal Jasni made the plea in the Kuala Lumpur
00:14Sessions Court today after the charge was read to him before Judge Siti Shakira Muhtaruddin.
00:21He is accused of attempting to leak a document entitled Q1 2024 Upstream Business Performance
00:27Operational and Financial to Petros. The offence was allegedly committed at Mark's service residence
00:33in Dangwangi on June 8 last year. Khairul was charged under Section 203A Subsection 1,
00:41read with Section 511 of the Penal Code, with attempting to disclose information obtained
00:46in the performance of his duties as a Petronas Business Unit Performance Manager. If convicted,
00:51he is liable to a minimum fine of RM1 million, imprisonment of up to a year, or both.
00:58The court allowed bail of RM20,000 with one surety, with the additional condition that Khairul
01:04surrender his passport.
