00:00so we're looking at the odds in these series and we're going to the western conference now

00:05yeah let's go to the west uh with the series that by far is going to have the most attention on it

00:11uh and that is colorado and dallas colorado now minus 152 dallas plus 126 and that is

00:19different from yesterday that moved a lot scotty after that robertson injury last night

00:24yeah now look uh they're they certainly have better goaltending and it's not the dumbest

00:32thing in the world to take that price and bet on the stars for you know betters like that's a nice

00:39payoff and they can win the series believe me they are they not favored to win the west but they're

00:46not anymore dogs not anymore because of robertson i don't believe that for one minute that that guy

00:51is mario lemieux okay they're treating him like wayne gretzky over here robertson's a good player

00:57there's no denying that but they got second back i don't know what he's going to be in hockey shape

01:03wise but i'll say this let's stop acting like robertson is gila floor okay calm down that price

01:11is good for betters i think at plus 126 now i'm still i was on colorado when he was healthy

01:19i think colorado's a better hockey team i think they're uh faster more dangerous the one thing

01:27that worries me is dallas's goaltending i think is better i really do and let me tell you something

01:33one thing i've learned in all my years of hockey and you notice mike it's real simple who has the

01:38best goalie usually wins i think that dallas's goaltending is honestly light years better in fact

01:45i think that the goaltending is the major achilles heel for colorado uh in the playoffs and now i don't

01:51see why you wouldn't bet on dallas they won a few years ago with suspect goaltending so i'm sure they

01:57think they could do it again but dallas is the superior goaltending team they fell to fifth since last

02:05night they are now behind in the to win the western conference it now goes colorado vegas edmonton

02:10winnipeg and dallas is fifth at plus 550 they've dropped below all four teams well i think that's

02:17insanity that it uh the the drop is that gigantic because of him i i just i think it's that's just stupid

02:26let me tell you something first of all uh in my opinion hellebuck and and i'll even say it

02:34bennington they're both better goalies uh and and they get no respect at all the jets or the blues

02:41uh and those two goalies are insane and what they're going against each other right those two are insane

02:48whoever wins that series you better look out because whoever comes out of that has i think the most valuable

02:56goalie left standing those two guys let's just stop i mean bennington's a money goalie he's already

03:04got one stanley cup he got the four nations he's going to be in the olympics in italy

03:09believe me you he'll be canada's goalie and he's a badass and so is hellebuck

03:16and bennington beat him flat out in the four nations it comes down to goaltending it's not about

03:23robertson it's not about him guys get injured all the time it sucks for dallas that they're one of

03:29their snipers got injured but did they not get this guy ran them to be a sniper well jesus christ

03:37then go out and score some goals brah uh you mentioned hellebuck dallas hasn't done anything

03:44yet uh hellebuck versus bennington winnipeg is favored minus 215 in that series they of course won

03:51the president's trophy uh i like them i really do but i would bet on bennington at that price

03:58right at that price i'm gonna make some money i like the jets but i would bet on bennington if i

04:06were you if you want to win some money because i the president's trophy winner always gags on a spoon

04:12uh vegas is the biggest it's like the black cloud diner mike you know it you don't want anything to

04:19do with that trophy in fact i want to win the president's last night of the year for the

04:23president's trophy there were two teams playing for it and i was the coach of one of them i'd throw the

04:29game uh you should uh throw the game that's exactly what should happen uh if that were to happen to

04:36you i mean honestly only eight uh eight of the last 37 uh teams that won the president's trophy

04:42ended up winning the cup eight of 37 and you're the best team in the league but you don't sniff the

04:48stanley cup is what that award means you know how they and the last how about this mike time out i got

04:54five left you got superstitions in hockey right what's one of them never touch those trophies uh

05:01eastern conference or the western conference second one don't touch that president's trophy

05:07edit you'll get your wife will leave you she'll sleep with your best friend and you'll lose in

05:12the playoffs automatic and the last team to do it was the 2012 13 chicago blackhawks so it's been 12

05:19years since the president's trophy team well they were won the cup they were really loaded with

05:23talented guys they were a loaded team loaded team uh i don't think the jets are loaded no they are

05:30not vegas is the biggest favorite in the first round for the series they're minus 235 over minnesota

05:36i don't think that we're gonna have much resistance there i would be stunned if minnesota uh put up a

05:42fight with them uh and edmonton is favored over la they've beaten them three years in a row

05:49minus 140 for the oilers how do you not take that buck 16 with the uh kings and but listen i told you from

05:57the jump did i not from the jump day one i said the oilers were gonna win the stanley cup
