00:08Hi Stephanie, you're like a social media maven.
00:11You live on the internet here at The Riff, right?
00:14I do. I do. Every day.
00:15So I want my videos to like, you know, I want them to explode.
00:18I want millions of people to watch them. What do I got to do?
00:21You've got to make it go viral.
00:22It has to be good enough, funny enough, people have to share it.
00:26It has to go viral.
00:28Like cats playing the piano?
00:29Like cats playing the piano.
00:31Okay. Hmm.
00:35Make it go viral.
00:39All right, good advice. Thank you so much.
00:42Hmm. She's giving me some good things to think about.
00:45It's got to go viral.
00:47What about all these idiots I see all over the internet
00:49throwing water up in the air during the cold winter days?
00:52I'll try that.
00:55What are you doing?
00:57It's too warm out for this.
00:59What are you guys? Bill Nye the science guy?
01:01This doesn't work.
01:03Come on.
01:06Well, that didn't go as expected.
01:09Let's see.
01:09Viral videos.
01:10What do people like?
01:11Ah, how about videos with animals in them?
01:14I have a dog.
01:15I need this video to go viral.
01:17I need this video to go viral.
01:18Can you do something funny?
01:23Can you do anything?
01:27Speak?
01:30Man, there's just got to be something to make this video go viral.
01:34What could it be?
01:35It might take a little work to get my videos to go viral, but some of my interviews have
01:45gone viral.
01:46Dee Snider talked about Metallica and his doubt that he had in them when they first started,
01:52and that went all over the internet this past weekend.
01:54Check out this clip from my Talkin' Rock podcast.
01:56And I remember, this is a true story.
01:58So we're on tour of Metallica, and we're in Holland, and I'm standing on the side of
02:03the stage, and I'm watching them doing their set.
02:06And I turn to my bass player, and I go, you know, these guys got a lot of heart, but they're
02:09never going to go anywhere.
02:10Like I said, I'm brutally honest.
02:16I said that out loud, but I didn't mean it against them.
02:19I just said, they're so heavy.
02:21They're so heavy.
02:22But they made people just accept how heavy they were, and that's the great thing about
02:30Metallica.
