00:11In the Riff TV Lounge with Under Oath, they're actually our first band to join us,

00:16and they all just kind of helped us name the studio.

00:19So we're going with Riff TV Lounge.

00:24Okay, we're not going to do that, but they are going to play a couple of songs for us,

00:27which is going to be awesome.

00:28The new album is called Erase Me.

00:30The first album since 2010, and it seems like it's going really well.

00:35Talked to you guys back at Rock on the Range.

00:37And so how's it been a few months out of the festival season?

00:41Sleepy.

00:42Yeah, we've not stopped the festival season.

00:44We went and did the European festival season after we saw you at the U.S. festival season.

00:48Like three days after we saw, after that festival run.

00:52Yeah, your first show in Spain.

00:53Yeah, how about that?

00:54It was wild.

00:55Yeah, it was awesome.

00:56Big crowd?

00:57Big crowd.

00:58One of the biggest crowds we played to all year, one of them, yeah.

01:01The Blair, it was that time of the day where the sun is just setting underneath the top of the stage.

01:06So the crowd was nice and cool, but we had the sun like around the place.

01:10It was crazy because it was like 10 p.m.

01:12Yeah, and the sun was setting.

01:15It was super weird.

01:15Yeah, I was just in Alaska, so I understand that.

01:17So you get it.

01:18Yeah, yeah.

01:18It's a weird kind of feeling when you're looking at that.

01:20So the next single is I Hate It.

01:23The first single was Rapture, which did amazingly well.

01:26You guys are going to be going on tour.

01:28You're coming to the Royal Oak Music Theater December 2nd here in Michigan.

01:53A lot of interviews you guys did said that you're in a good place.

01:59And so what are the plans for the future?

02:01I mean, obviously the album just came out, but it seems like everything's going well.

02:06We're about to do like our first real tour on the record.

02:09Which is the one that's coming to the Royal Oak.

02:13You know, we've kind of just started this cycle, so...

02:17It's going to be a lot of touring and just us all over the world, I think.

02:21Because of festival season, we couldn't do like major market touring.

02:26Typically, you put a record out and you know, you go play New York in L.A., Detroit, Chicago.

02:29Yeah.

02:30But we did it kind of the backwards way.

02:36And places we never played in our whole...

02:39You know, 13-year career.

02:40So how was it on the road?

02:44Like I said, you guys back together.

02:46Like what's the vibe that you guys have when you're out on the road and you're traveling

02:55Like we have little cliques within Under Oath, but everyone gets along.

02:59The cliques have always been a thing, but we didn't all used to be able to get along ever

03:06So now we're all happy and healthy, which definitely helps.

03:11Everyone does their own thing now, which is what we've always done, but now it's okay.

03:15Yeah, because now we're adults.

03:16Now you're 35.

03:19You guys have been around this since like almost 20 years.

03:21The first album came out in 99.

03:22About 15 years.

03:23Our first real album came out in 4.

03:24Before.

03:25Kind of like a local band before that.

03:27So we had like...

03:29High school music stuff.

03:31But yeah, we started touring when we were, I guess, 18.

03:35So we all just turned 35.
