Ward boy performs medical tasks for fame

A contract ward boy from Alwar, Rajasthan, was caught on camera administering injections and setting up drips, just to go viral on social media.

00:12register. The Watt boy was posted in the hospital's trauma department on a contract basis.

00:17Chief Medical Officer Dr. Sunil Chauhan confirmed that the video was a few days old

00:21and the Watt boy was fired as soon as the incident came to light.

00:30Following the incident, the hospital administration issued strict guidelines prohibiting filming

00:40reels within the hospital premises, especially during treatment. In March of 2025, a video

00:46went viral showing an electric scooter running through a Jaipur hospital, raising safety and

00:51security concerns. These incidents raised grave concerns about the government hospitals where

00:56a non-medical employee has been providing services to patients.
