Does anyone even use Cardiff airport?

We’re asking people around Cardiff for their favourite airports, and whether they’ve ever been to our local airport in Roose - spoiler: people don’t seem to use it.

00:00I suppose most people just think of the main ones that people tend to go through Heathrow and Gatwick in London.

00:07I flew into Gatwick and it was kind of a bit dirty but did the job I suppose.

00:15So yeah, I went through Heathrow and was a bit younger and I think similarly it's just really big.

00:21Yeah definitely, it'll make the day of travelling much easier but I and everyone that I sort of know

00:27have never actually travelled from Cardiff Airport which is shocking because it's our closest airport.

00:33But yeah, we usually go to the ones outside the city so we should have more access to our own airport.

00:42Cardiff Airport's not used massively is it? It's a lot more private I think isn't it?

00:47It would probably be quite good if it was more commercial, maybe more tourism again for Wales.

00:52I mean Bristol's quite a big airport so it's not really worth having two so close together sometimes but yeah.
