00:11granting the company a 25-year franchise extension.
00:15Meralco executives expressed gratitude to the chief executive
00:18for supporting what they described as a major step forward.
00:22Meralco said the franchise renewal will allow them to implement more programs
00:26and improve their services to their customers.
00:29Among them include the continued modernization and expansion of Meralco's distribution network
00:34to prevent future service disruptions.
