00:00Rotation and resting five changes from the last Premier League line-up.
00:03There's a fifth successive Premier League start for Robert Sanchez.
00:06He's back as number one choice in goal.
00:09Mark Cucurella and Levi Cole will return to the starting 11.
00:12Also recent rests.
00:14A 100th Chelsea appearance for Enzo Fernandes.
00:17He will captain the side.
00:20Chelsea send out what most of their fans would see as their best front four.
00:23Cole Palmer starts flanked by Noni Madueke and Pedro Neto.
00:27And Nicholas Jackson starts just his second Premier League game since February.
00:34Tyric George got his first goal for the club in Warsaw on Thursday.
00:37He's named among the Chelsea substitutes here.
00:42Kieran McKenna named a rare unchanged side last week but switches things up again today.
00:47Three changes in total from that defeat to Wolves.
00:50Alex Palmer hadn't yet arrived at Ipswich when they beat Chelsea in December.
00:55Leif Davis is back in the starting 11.
00:57After a couple of games out of the side.
01:00No changes to the harder midfield.
01:02Sam Morsi and Jens Kajuste partner each other for the third successive game.
01:07Nathan Broadhead drops out of the side as Jack Clark returns for a first start in four.
01:12And for just the third time this season there is no Liam Dillap in a Premier League line-up for Ipswich.
01:16We're told he has been nursing a rib injury.
01:19George Hurst handed just his second league start of the season.
01:23Dillap is named on the bench but still no Omari Hutchinson involved.
01:27So Ipswich start without the scorers of both their goals in their win against Chelsea of Paul Monroe.
01:33So after taking a giant stride towards the semi-finals of the Europa Conference League in Poland on Thursday.
02:02Chelsea look to move in the right direction once again in the Premier League.
02:07They'll see this assignment as much win.
02:10Certainly on paper and by league position.
02:14This one against lowly Ipswich Town looks their easiest task that remains in their league fixture list this season.
02:22Three home games remain for Chelsea after this against Everton, Liverpool and then against Manchester United.
02:29All sides that have taken points off Chelsea already this season.
02:38Enzo Fernandes ready to lead Chelsea on his 100th appearance for the club.
02:42Ipswich Town, who have won only four Premier League games this season.
02:48Three of those coming away.
02:50The only one at home was against Chelsea.
02:52But today they come into this without their coveted striker, Liam Dillap.
02:58A rib injury for him means that he has a watching brief from the bench, at least from the start.
03:04His head coach, Kieran McKenna, saying we're not sure how much time he can give us on the pitch today.
03:11We shall see.
03:15Well, this is no room for racism.
03:18We can.
03:19And as such, the players take the knee ahead of kickoff here at Stamford Bridge.
03:24Chelsea in blue, Ipswich pretty in pink and get us off and underway here.
03:36A ground where they have not won in the league since 1979.
03:41Alan Brazil with two goals for Bobby Robson's side.
03:45It's going to take quite something if they're going to repeat that feat today, Rob, isn't it?
03:48Yeah, it's afternoon, Bill.
03:49It's a huge task in front of them.
03:51And they'll have a bloke by Dillap's omission, which was not surprising after the news of a rib injury.
03:57But they'll line up in 4-2-3-1, which kind of becomes a flexible back five with Ben Johnson dropping in from right wing into right wing back.
04:07Really interested to see Leif Davies who's struggled at left wing back, left back up against Nonu Adam Maduweki,
04:12who's been brought in, shone so brightly in the second half in the week for Chelsea.
04:17But Chelsea, as you put it, this is a must-win for them, really, with the games that they've got coming up,
04:24with the Champions League positions at stake.
04:27Early set-piece examination.
04:30Shea is forward, but there's a flag up on this near side.
04:33Stuart Atwell, incidentally, our match referee this afternoon, his assistant on this near side, Konstantin Hatsidakis.
04:40I don't know how Enzo Maresko would love to see his side start with a little bit of bounce in their steps.
04:51They've been slow starters.
04:53It's really been a problem of late.
04:55Here's Noni Maduweki, who came off the bench in Poland to such great effect.
04:59He's found Cole Palmer.
05:00Charleba, who's employed as right-back with both Rhys James and Malo Gusto left on the bench.
05:11There's one little insight there for Ipswich right at the start of the game.
05:21Enzo Maresko, Enzo Fernandes finding so much space in the middle of the pitch.
05:28Ipswich are very much ball-orientated.
05:30They will get drawn in.
05:32And if you can make those extra spare runners elsewhere on the pitch, they will find space for Chelsea.
05:42Ellipswich have won in London at Tottenham.
05:46Wolves and also last time out at Bournemouth.
05:49But as you can see, early days.
05:52But Chelsea, considerable favourites to continue their good recent home form.
05:56The wins might not have been consistent, but they have been coming here.
06:03Four in a row in the league.
06:10Here's Neto, starting from the left with Maduweki in his preferred position on the right.
06:19This is the low block we expected Ipswich to employ.
06:23And this is where Chelsea have struggled in this season, in recent history of breaking down teams like this.
06:33Johnson has a bit of space in which to work down the Ipswich right.
06:37And Cissot with the overlap.
06:40Kukurea goes to ground and gets the free kick he was hoping for.
06:44You can hear the yelp from the Spaniard from a lofty position at the top of the East stand at Stamford Bridge.
06:51There's a clean hand in the face.
06:53From Johnson.
06:55He's just slowing down.
06:56He had the space and...
06:57Sounds like a finger in the eye.
07:00Just trying to fend off Kukurea.
07:03But that's the space for Ipswich in there.
07:05Because Kukurea's got the freedom out of anyone of the back four to go forward.
07:09Almost slipping into three centre-halves with Chalabar on the right-hand side.
07:13That's where the freedom is for Ipswich.
07:16That's where the space they can attack.
07:22Kukurea signalling to Stuart Atwell where the contact was.
07:26There have been some from the outside looking in curious team selections from Enzo Mareska of late.
07:38Particularly at Brentford last week where they failed to trouble the scorers shall we say.
07:43Kukurea left on the bench, Nicholas Jackson left on the bench.
07:48Kukurea as well has been out of the side for the last two games.
07:50Sanchez has given it away.
07:52No one out to Clark.
07:53Who fires over into the Matthew Harding stand.
07:56It's wasteful from Clark and it's sloppy from Sanchez.
08:01And this doesn't help the Chelsea backline, the Chelsea team, the atmosphere within the stadium.
08:09They're awaiting as much as anybody for Robert Sanchez to make an mistake like this.
08:14And I see what he's trying to do.
08:15He's trying to find Nani Maduweki way out on the far side.
08:19On the right-hand side.
08:20It's just a horrible strike.
08:26Well, two bits of questionable distribution from the Spaniard in the Chelsea goal in the first five minutes.
08:33He's been under the spotlight.
08:34The goalkeeping position, Rob, has very much been under the spotlight.
08:37There is Philipp Jorgensen who did have a run in the side.
08:42Didn't exactly convince during his audition process, shall we say.
08:46No, and there's been a lot of money spent in that department over recent years.
08:50Since my time there, Chelsea came to get on with it.
08:54They found Nani Maduweki.
08:55Okay, Jackson lurks in the middle.
08:58And it's out by Johnson.
09:00But retrieved by Shalaba.
09:10Shalaba retrieves.
09:11Maduweki, trying to get that link-up play going with Tana.
09:25Morsi has typical combat himself in the midfield.
09:30Driving on the Ipswich town captain.
09:32And then Cissot is fouled.
09:33Yeah, it's an interesting proposition there that Morsi has with Colt-Palmer.
09:39And we saw Sarabia last week, four Wolves exploit that space really well.
09:43When it goes wide, Ipswich's players do get tense, drawed into the ball over on one side.
09:50And exploiting the space with a quick switch is where Colt-Palmer will excel.
09:54And the bright Sunday sunshine in West London.
10:09You mentioned Chelsea's problem from the start and the fact that they are slow starters within games.
10:18They have lost 315 minutes and counting since they last scored a first-half goal.
10:24Last coming nearly two months ago against Southampton here.
10:27The Wolves also kicking off at 2 o'clock against Tottenham Hotspur.
10:39They have scored Ryan 8.
10:40Norrie giving them the lead against Spurs.
10:42And look at that, the gap grows at the bottom.
10:4714 points as it stands.
10:55Kukurea here for Chelsea.
10:57Colville.
11:01You can see Colt-Palmer now on the ball.
11:03He's in so much space when it goes wide.
11:05He's desperately keen to get the ball.
11:10Fernandes.
11:11There's Jackson who's hit the post.
11:15First big moment in front of goal for Chelsea.
11:19And Nicolas Jackson should really have buried that.
11:22Yeah, clear sight of goal.
11:24He makes a really good run across the near post.
11:26But from there, expecting a little tug of the arm to get the space, get the distance.
11:33I would say he is beyond the near post.
11:36But hitting the target is the bare minimum.
11:37Jackson who has been injured, of course, a lot of time on the sidelines in 2025, but hasn't scored in 10 games.
11:48Just 1 in 12 coming against Brentford.
11:51That was a big chance to get an elusive early goal for Chelsea.
11:56Alex Palmer, recruited in January from West Bromwich Albion in the Ipswich Town goal.
12:09Cole Palmer here.
12:10The cutback to Enzo Fernandes.
12:14Neatly worked.
12:15But the finish lacking.
12:18Well, we've seen him do it.
12:19He had more time than he thought.
12:25All the time in the world coming in off the edge of the box.
12:28This was a chance from Jackson and from that angle, you're right, Bill.
12:33Should have scored.
12:34Enough of the goal to aim at.
12:36Nine goals for the season so far for Nicholas Jackson.
12:48Short of the 17 he got in all competitions in his first season in English football.
12:53Last time out under Mauricio Pochettino.
12:55He will say that he will miss those chances, Nicholas Jackson.
13:06But he will keep going and he will keep getting them.
13:12Can I say, though?
13:17Fernandes to Madueke.
13:20Jackson is in the middle here.
13:22Madueke.
13:23Well worked by Madueke.
13:25The block.
13:26An important one by O'Shea.
13:30And Hurst leading the line for Ipswich.
13:33Starting for the first time in five games.
13:39The plan is clear for Chelsea.
13:41From that man is combinations out wide, combinations through him.
13:47He's got...
13:48The juices flowing right now.
13:50He really does seem like he can make a difference in a game.
13:55Palmer tried to steal, but Morsi, the Ipswich Town captain, has it.
14:03Swedish midfielder, Kayuste.
14:09Morsi again.
14:09D'Amanda, D'Amanda, D'Amanda, D'Amanda, D'Amanda, D'Amanda.
14:27Twins, AB.
14:28Wasteful.
14:30Kamaseiro says thank you very much and finds Jackson, who in turn feeds Pedro Neto.
14:35Four blue shirts in the box here, Madueke is one of them, and he couldn't squeeze it in.
14:48It's well worked by Chelsea down the left, and Neto is really well to recognise that the bodies are in the box,
14:56and Madueke's in space, just stands it up way beyond the far post.
14:59It's a difficult chance on his weaker foot.
15:02He just thinks, tell you what, just hit the target, just gets something towards goal and gets a deflection,
15:08but again, down the flanks for Chelsea, the space is there, they're getting their joy.
15:25McCall and McLean from Parma.
15:32They say they want it back against Morsi, good battle in the engine room there.
15:48Neto.
15:53Bananas.
15:54I think so cheers away defensive record, doesn't inspire an enormous amount of confidence, 29 goals conceded from their 15 games so far.
16:24Almost an average of two a game.
16:30And Chalibur for Chelsea, Fernandes to Parma.
16:34Now Neto.
16:37Neto hangs it up, Chalibur coming round the back.
16:40And Enzo Fernandes gone in his way.
16:42Needed a shout.
16:45It's a far better opportunity for him, but Ipswich and Masters are their own undoing here, really.
16:52They're playing out so stately, so stiffly from the back, it's easily picked off by Chelsea every time.
17:04Neto.
17:04Maduweke.
17:09And again.
17:13Chalibur.
17:14Straight at Parma.
17:20Maduweke again.
17:21You can see at the top of your screen, a run from Fernandes just draws the eyes of Leif Davies.
17:28From there, Maduweke has the time and space to pick what he wants to do, but the amount of bodies they're getting in the box, the amount of opportunities they're creating already, you feel like it's a matter of time for Chelsea.
17:40And that's a foul by Levi Colwell, who was one of those rested last weekend at Brentford.
17:59And that has been pretty much a fixture in the side.
18:01This is 29th Premier League start of the season.
18:03This is 29th Premier League start of the season.
18:33And we've seen some iffy distribution already today, but you look at his recent numbers, he's only conceded one goal in his last four Premier League games, and that was against Arsenal away from home.
18:46You look at how he plays the game, he likes to get involved in the game, and sometimes his decisions are so proactive, they're almost unnecessary.
18:54You see him when the mistakes come, when the nervousness comes around, he feels like it's got to affect the game.
19:02And as a goalkeeper, doing nothing is a really good option, and just letting the game go on in front of you and being calm and judging and picking your moments, and I think he just brought that more into his game.
19:12And here's Palma now for Chelsea.
19:21Showing the fine space, but wherever he looks, he sees a wall of pink.
19:25And on here, he's in behind.
19:27Palma to create.
19:28No shade to get it behind for another Chelsea corner.
19:33He's clever from Palma, he recognises the space.
19:36A number of players around him, and Cicero just switches off.
19:41This is a top player recognising how congested it is in one area.
19:46Just go and play somewhere else.
19:5013 games and counting without a goal, though, for Cole Palma.
19:53Did get the assist there in the win against Tottenham Hotspur for Enzo Fernandes.
19:59And it's Fernandes on corner duty here.
20:13Chalabat.
20:16Neto popping up on the right with Madueke.
20:29Chalabat now.
20:32And this is Moises Caicedo.
20:40Madueke.
20:41Nice looking ball.
20:42Colwell with the header.
20:43Palma thought about the shot, but it didn't quite have enough on it from Jackson.
20:49Well, one back by Fernandes.
20:51Palma.
20:52Kukureya.
20:52That's wild from Kukureya in the end.
21:03It's another good chance, another good cross.
21:05Just good recognition from Madueke.
21:09We've got the numbers in the box.
21:10We've got Cole staying up front.
21:13Doesn't really have the power on it.
21:15You can see that there's no real power put into the ball from the header.
21:19Well, the amount of crosses that Ipswich are allowing into the boxes is worrying.
21:26Well, so much of the talk ahead of this game was about that man you see in the picture there, Liam de Lapp.
21:38Chelsea, one of several clubs who are linked with a move for him should Ipswich Town be relegated.
21:44£40 million, the reported release clause.
21:50I think at that price there'll be a fair few queuing up.
21:53I think that might be part of the problem for Chelsea.
21:56They're not on their own in watching him.
22:02Certainly down below us, a number in the media contingent were disappointed when they found out he was on the bench.
22:07O'Shea's header, a fall to Morsi.
22:21Hurst.
22:22Good turn and run.
22:27Johnson.
22:28Oh, he's got it into the middle and it sees so scores!
22:33It's Wittstown, lead at Stamford Bridge.
22:37Well, one of the high points of their season was the win against Chelsea at home.
22:48And they've drawn first blood at the bridge this afternoon.
22:51Chelsea near Lipswich 1.
22:56Alain Ciso's at it again.
22:58It's down this right-hand side.
23:00You see how much Cucurello's drawn in the field and then it's an overload.
23:04It's a 2v1.
23:05Johnson down the right-hand side.
23:07He just has to get there first and work it across the box.
23:10And it's a toe-pump finish, but it's a brilliant finish from Nciso.
23:14Just a lack of challenge from Chelsea.
23:17Tosin and Colwell just don't recognise where he is.
23:22It's a really well-worked goal from Ipswich's point of view.
23:25Down this right-hand side has been the space for them to attack.
23:29They barely had an attack, but they're in the lead.
23:31And Nciso brought to the club on loan in January has his first goal for Ipswich Town.
23:39He enjoys himself here at Stamford Bridge.
23:41Got a belter for Brighton a couple of seasons back.
23:44And Ipswich's score with their first attempt on target.
23:56Can we play you every week, sing the Ipswich fans?
24:03Sadly for them, the answer's no.
24:05They'd be top of the league if they could right now.
24:13Struggled in the opening 20 minutes to contain Chelsea at times.
24:17And I know the loads that they've had, but...
24:20And Ciso against Bournemouth made the difference driving runs.
24:24And there again, driving forwards without the ball this time has made the difference.
24:35And George Hurst, honourable mention for him.
24:43The last 13 Premier League appearances before today have all been off the bench.
24:48He's very much been second string to Liam De Laat for obvious reasons,
24:51but this role in turning defence into attack, absolutely vital.
25:00That's a real challenge now for Chelsea.
25:02Ipswich, nothing particularly changes, the sit-in and hopefully hit Chelsea on the counter.
25:11Hard to break down, Ipswich.
25:13The boos start to come, the frustration will grow at Stamford Bridge,
25:18and this is one for holding of nerve.
25:20Hernandez.
25:21...
25:25Fernandez.
25:27Amanda Oke looking to run in behind.
25:29Burgess across.
25:30Manchester City came here in the opening weekend of the Premier League season and won
25:45Fulham did so on Boxing Day
25:46they need two sides to come to this corner of West London
25:50and come away with all three points
25:52just about kept in by Ben Johnson
26:22as you said Rob they've had plenty of good plays
26:52early on that big chance from Nicholas Jackson that wasn't taken
26:55fired against the post
26:58and others have nervousness around Stamford Bridge
27:02despair just yet but growing frustration from the Chelsea fans
27:14and it has been a thing this season of even in winning games
27:18the manner of the performance has been questioned
27:22and the lack of free-flowing football the positional play that they play
27:28even in possession
27:30the lack of movement between the two players
27:33between the players has been
27:34what a frustration
27:36and here's Palmer
27:39who will remember a few months ago now though that they did trail here
27:42against Brighton before he really turned on the style
27:47and an extraordinary first half where he scored four goals
27:52well that's what the bottom of the table looks like
28:13West Ham have dropped down there at Anfield today
28:15as Jackson closes in
28:17and Palmer does enough
28:19he's hurt
28:20so
28:21the tension will come on
28:23West Ham are losing
28:27so they've dropped down into the picture
28:30Wolves winning
28:32and Ipswich winning at the moment
28:34there's a collision more than anything
28:39Nicholas Jackson
28:40no real intent on causing any harm to
28:45Alex Palmer
28:46but
28:46almost a replay of last week
28:48Palmer
28:49allowed one to roll by him
28:51no real
28:52thanks to his teammate
28:54he's just giving him a
28:55bit of a dodgy back pass
28:57but
28:57a nervous moment for Ipswich to get by
28:59there was a knee to the side of the head
29:09so the concussion protocol has just been carried out
29:12they came here more in hope than expectation
29:16that they do their first double since 1979 against Chelsea
29:20they're still
29:21as part of three quarters of this match to play
29:24but
29:24what a fine start it is
29:26well for the record for the three times
29:33this season that Chelsea have
29:35conceded first and won the match
29:37two of them have been at home
29:38that one against Brighton
29:39most recently here on a Monday night
29:40against West Ham United
29:41they
29:41did the same
29:43well they're unconvincingly
29:44well the time they turned around
29:49the deficit is in that
29:514-3 thriller
29:52that's Tottenham Hotspur
29:54they've struggled to find an Ipswich face in the away section
30:01without a smile on it at the moment
30:03and there hasn't been a lot to smile about this season
30:06particularly at home
30:07they've had real struggles
30:10the ease of which they've conceded at times
30:13and
30:13the difficulties they've had in scoring
30:16it's such a contrast in today
30:19that they've actually scored one out of nothing
30:21they've had to work so hard for goals at times this season
30:24Jackson
30:30challenge from O'Shea
30:33another Chelsea corner
30:34Pedro Neto will whip it in
30:48Salabar and Cole will come up
30:52so too does Tosin
30:56he's got the contact
31:07Clark out
31:08this is Palmer
31:09Neto
31:15Palmer
31:22Colwell
31:23solid defensive work
31:25by Ben Johnson
31:27that'll give them heart
31:30it's a good passage of play for Ipswich there
31:32little moments of pressure
31:33a number of crosses
31:34where
31:34previously
31:35Chelsea have been finding their players
31:38now they're finding bodies
31:39in pink shirts
31:40defending
31:42managing to get clearances on the ball
31:45so
31:45little wins for Ipswich
31:47along with the goal that they've scored
31:49it would have been very easy for them to come here with
31:57heads hanging a little bit
32:00no foul on Cole Palmer
32:01then after what happened last week
32:02and the situation in which they left themselves
32:04there's Nciso
32:05and he asked for a loan spell away from Brighton because he wasn't getting enough football
32:24he wanted to start more regularly
32:25this is his fifth successive start for Ipswich Town
32:29he's got his first goal
32:30in his first one
32:32since he scored against Manchester City at the Amex in May 2023
32:36you're looking at him as a player who
32:40a team like Ipswich can make a difference
32:43we talked about the struggles in scoring
32:45and
32:45someone who can pick the ball up there
32:48and do something a little bit different
32:49he's had a lovely ball in here
32:52for Jouste
32:53well they gave Sanchez plenty to think about
32:58now the boos are ringing out now
33:01because Chelsea
33:02playing themselves into trouble
33:05and it's
33:06Jouste's scored from this range
33:08against Nottingham Forest a couple of weeks ago
33:11and from there with that time
33:13you know what he's trying to do
33:14I would say that
33:15that's a really good opportunity to find the corner
33:24Jenska Jouste's had a good season really
33:26for the most part for Ipswich Town
33:28he's scored one goal against Nottingham Forest
33:30very close to adding to the tally there
33:33these are interesting times here at Stamford Bridge
33:37because the natives are restless
33:38and Ipswich drawing strength from that
33:40here's Clark
33:41in CISO
33:43he'll have another go
33:44over Hurst
33:45and Johnson is there
33:47to double Ipswich's lead
33:49well an unlikely tale indeed
33:56unfolding here in West London
33:58but will it count
34:03the flag up
34:08from Konstantin Hatsidakis
34:11on this near side
34:12of course we now in the Premier League
34:13for the first time
34:14have semi-automated offside
34:16technology involved
34:18the duo
34:22are at it again
34:23there's no offside there
34:25absolutely no idea
34:28as to why this
34:30was given offside
34:35because that
34:36well I think it's in CISO isn't it
34:37yeah
34:38rather than Ben Johnson
34:39I think they're going to be okay here
34:41well on that pause
34:42it's whether that frame
34:44is the frame that
34:44is on the position
34:46of when the ball is played
34:47it's another really
34:49well-crafted goal
34:50by Ipswich
34:51getting bodies over
34:54on the overlap
34:55but
34:55to the naked eye
34:58on the video
34:58it looks like
34:59there is no problem
35:01well the new technology
35:10we have here
35:11is supposed to
35:11speed up the decision
35:12and we are about
35:13to get the verdict here
35:14the cheers come
35:17from the away end
35:18because the goal
35:19will stand
35:19and CISO offside
35:20and Ben Johnson
35:27has his first goal
35:28for the club
35:28and just over
35:32half an hour
35:32played here
35:33Ipswich in the same
35:34position that they
35:35ended the match
35:36at Portman Road
35:37Chelsea 0
35:37Ipswich 2
35:38that's brilliant play
35:40again
35:40the overloads
35:42are everywhere
35:42from Ipswich
35:43and it's the same
35:43combination
35:44the other way
35:45round this time
35:46from the first goal
35:47you just see the space
35:49and the willingness
35:49to run into that
35:50space from NC
35:51so you think
35:52he may have delayed
35:53the opportunity
35:54again
35:55Ben Johnson
35:58running into the space
36:00creating the extra man
36:03Stamford Bridges stunned

36:53They double up on him, Fernandes looking to return, Davis had the measure of that.
37:11Kukureya.
37:16Kukureya.
37:22They're doing better in those moments there, Bill, the switcher.
37:25When they're dropping and dropping in numbers, they're just a little bit closer together in the back line.
37:30Just cutting off the channels in between the defenders.
37:35A little bit better. Frustrating, Chelsea.
37:46Kaisedo loses his footing but not possession and wins the free kick.
37:58Ten minutes till half-time.
38:03It's key to the outcome of this game that Ipswich aren't pegged back in any shape or form before the break.
38:09Can they hold out in the next ten minutes?
38:15The way they're going, can we get a third?
38:20In by Colwell.
38:24Off the head of Jackson.
38:28Just moments like that, it's more of a hopeful cross coming in from Chelsea rather than the pinpoint ones that we've seen in the first 15 minutes.
38:43Long faces in the homestands here at Stamford Bridge.
38:52That's why Chelsea in sixth.
38:55Manchester City and Aston Villa both winning yesterday.
38:59Newcastle with two games in hand host Manchester United later on this afternoon.
39:04This is shaping up to be a deeply damaging weekend for Chelsea's Champions League hopes.
39:11that they've got the remainder of the season as well.
39:14Chelsea, you'd say that this one was the one where you're nailing impending in three points.
39:20It's going to be a more difficult frustration at home and tough away games to come.
39:29.
39:35Neto.
39:40Palmer.
39:42Kukureya.
39:45Johnson now to make a block.
39:51The Ipswich fans, Kukureya got to the ball before it went out of play.
39:55A little gesture from the Spaniard, which has enraged the travelling contingent from East Anglia.
40:01Tama, Kukureya again.
40:13Here's Madweke, who glass it wide of the Ipswich goal.
40:20Well, they've had the opportunities this first half, and it's a wonderful ball from Cole Palmer.
40:26Recognising the player, the space, and how to get it there.
40:28His body's in there for Ipswich.
40:32Just enough to put the pressure on Madweke, but wasteful again.
40:49Well, it was the position of Nciso that was being looked at in the build-up to that Ben Johnson goal.
40:56And there you see.
40:58The trailing leg of Tosin, playing on the on-loan Brighton player.
41:09Long way to go.
41:10Alex Palmer has used up one of his lives.
41:12He's been booked for delaying the restart.
41:14CS14 players.
41:20Just enough to get along the on-loan.
41:24Chiyuste and Ciso.
41:29Clark.
41:32Here's Palmer.
41:33and squeezed it through to pedro netto thought about coming out palma this is kukureya
41:43madueke stumbles onto it and transebi can make the challenge chelsea have let that chance slip
41:51through their fingers horrifically i'll take your pick is who you want to score because any one of
41:56them could have taken a shot and in the end no one managed to there's a last ditch tackle
42:02from twanzebi at the end but netto himself could have chipped palma never really reached kukureya on
42:12his preferred angle that he would have done a slight stumble a slight slip maybe from madueke but
42:20wow they've had some chances to pull the trigger and haven't managed to
42:24well it's sort of come here knowing that they needed to take their chances and they've done
42:37just that they'd also know that they need to rely on chelsea not doing so and
42:41the blues have obliged in the opening 40 minutes
42:45to send to palma see so in bravely
42:54morsi johnson
43:24as it stands i don't think it's going to be the warmest of reactions
43:29renzo maresco and the chelsea players should it stay like this until halftime
43:34fernandez
43:41fernandez
43:41caicedo
43:46palma
43:49netto
43:51here's palma
43:59cancebi glances away
44:06chelsea
44:13chelsea
44:21enzo fernandez to noni madueke
44:28madueke's ball in burgess patrolling that near post area
44:36fernandez
44:41it's hopeful again isn't it
44:44for more than anything and
44:46the longer it takes you to put the ball in the better set the opposition are going to be is not
44:50it's not
44:51anything clever it's not anything
44:53it needs to be intrinsic it needs to be with pace
44:55it needs to be with accuracy and
44:57it's neither
44:58and it's such hope when they did beat chelsea back in december that it would
45:03be the spark
45:05for them to survive it hasn't turned out that way they've only taken
45:09five points from a possible 36 since then
45:12and what a good position they've got themselves into here
45:15this is cold palma though for chelsea
45:17commander's had to check his run to get onto it
45:24madueke
45:30palma
45:32the fire block by morse
45:35netto
45:39shallabar's kept it in
45:42helped on by nc so
45:45colwell
45:58netto
46:00casket
46:02marweke
46:13ского
46:15metal
46:16k
46:17Marueke
46:25Finds the gap
46:30And also finds the welcoming gloves
46:33Of Alex Palmer
46:34They've got two minutes
46:38Two minutes to see through now
46:40It's reached for a dream half
46:43After last week's result
46:45The doom and gloom
46:47It's been around the club
46:48Almost the acceptance
46:49Of the inevitable
46:50This has been some response
46:53By them
46:53Tama
47:15Fernandez
47:17Fernandez
47:18Tosin
47:28Colwell
47:34Neto
47:50Colwell
47:52Caicedo
