Not everyone supports this eccentric art

00:00My work is eccentric and out of this world.

00:09I use sharp, edgy and architectural shapes to assemble my work.

00:24I'm Rase Vilcinskete. I produce wearable art.

00:31I'm a painter who reclusified myself into a world of jewelry, accessories and wearable art.

00:43My creations are deeply inspired by my passion of colors and oil painting.

00:50Concerning beads, I feel like I'm using another medium to create my colorful images.

00:56Almost 99% of my work is made of glass.

01:05Each day working on a new design, the number of materials on my table including different colors and forms of beads is enormous.

01:18Therefore, I create a completely messy workspace.

01:26If I have an idea or not, I always start looking for the best colors and shapes to create an art piece.

01:33I started creating my jewelry while studying at the art academy.

01:40However, I was not getting any support.

01:44Instead, I got lots of adverse reactions for my tutors and environment.

01:50That is how I found a community of wearable art where I could feel safe and stable.

02:05I think my pieces don't belong just to one industry as they are somewhere in between art and fashion.
