00:43Well, I was about two years old when I first started drawing, and then at some point I
00:53realized, like, oh, I want to be an artist, like, I don't want to, like, limit myself
00:58to just, oh, I want to paint.
01:07Today I will be working on a piece of artwork, and it is a peasant boy who is selling baranki,
01:15which is a kind of Russian bread, which was very popular in the old ages.
01:23Before I started this work, I was studying the costumes, how people behaved to kind of
01:29inform the model, so that it's not out of place.
01:36I did receive a lot of criticism, and I was bullied a bit when I started and people found
01:41out what I do, but I think it just, it's part of being an artist, I mean, you're always
01:47going to be criticized.
01:52It's kind of just a part where you have to follow your heart in this situation, you can't
01:55really just let other people be like, oh, this is ugly, and then you never draw that
01:59again.
02:03My mission is to bring a smile to people's faces, and to let them know that it's okay
02:08to be yourself, and you don't have to change yourself or what you want to be just to fit in.
