00:20hitting meetings uh tape anything like that is it something you say okay we believe in what we're
00:27doing or do you does there the coaches bring up that hey maybe we should change this or maybe we
00:33should change that or is it more like hey just we just need to stick with this a little bit longer
00:38and and see how it plays out well i think when you're going well it's easy to stick with what
00:44works and you say we're we're everything's fine and then you go through periods where maybe you're
00:49not going well and you want to evaluate everything and that's those are the times where you tend to
00:54overreact or you tend to make um irrational change um which may or may not be necessary
01:01oftentimes it's not you do the same things when you're going well and you don't think twice about
01:06it um and so i think it's just a matter of um guys pressing a little bit guys uh not really being
01:12relaxed um you know wanting to do too much in each at bat and i i really believe this group is is going
01:18to score a lot of runs that they're going to come together i think back to a conversation i had last
01:22year with um the arizona diamondbacks president of baseball operations and they started the season
01:27as not a very good offense and by the end of the year they um led baseball and run scored and i just
01:33come back to that that we have very very talented players with established track records who are going
01:38to figure this out um said it is our job to evaluate everything in terms of ways we can help these
01:45guys get through this and expedite um the slow start and we are doing that from our preparation
01:52to our meetings to the work we're doing uh to the messaging the philosophy do we need more information
01:57less information um are there just how do we get the best out of these guys and so we are evaluating
02:02all of it um but i can't say that there's a complete overhaul or change that's necessary i don't think
02:09that's the case i think there's just some subtle tweaks that we need to do and um when these guys get
02:13hot they're going to figure it out
