00:00all right we look at the eastern conference playoff standings we have said this in the odds

00:05proven we are really just biding time it would appear until we get to the eastern conference

00:10finals and that hopeful matchup of the calves hosting the celtics cleveland does have home

00:15for advantage throughout this eastern conference postseason the celtics though are the reigning

00:21champs and the minus money favorites to win the eastern conference crown let's take a look at those

00:26odds quickly before we discuss the rest of the conference minus 140 for boston plus 185 for

00:34cleveland i will be intrigued to see what the series price is if slash when we do get one versus two in

00:41cleveland for the eastern conference finals are the odds going to be a little bit further apart

00:46because it's just two teams left in the celtics and the calves have reached that expected juncture

00:52or are we going to see the calves get more respect than the odds makers are giving here but donnie

00:58until we get to the eastern conference finals because we'll do it all throughout the playoffs

01:02of course the conversation is who else who can maybe provide a test who can maybe be a challenger

01:09and a contender elsewhere around the eastern conference is there anybody in your mind and if so

01:16who do you point to it's when you saw the graphic that came up there and you say if there's one team

01:22that you want to say who can make a run typically in the past you might say the bucks but you know

01:25lillard being down and the team just hasn't been all that good the pedigree is there with the

01:29championship because it's the honest antinocupo they're out for me the pacers starting five looks

01:33really good don't trust them one iota the detroit pistons too soon at this point making the playoffs

01:39just probably happy to be there and the rest of the bunch behind them absolutely not but the team that is

01:43still intriguing i'm sorry is probably the new york knicks at that 11 to 1 price because you just

01:49look at them and say boy if they get it together they have a coach with a good pedigree they have

01:54a team that has superstars in the starting five they play in madison square garden which is an

01:59unbelievable home court advantage in the playoffs just from a crowd perspective that's the one team

02:04i look at but again we say in the west like we're talking about like teams like hey you know look

02:08look at the rockets the two see get no respect at a big price or how about the clippers who do have

02:12these monumentally talented players that now get the break in the playoffs of being able to rest

02:17and being healthy it's a lot easier to choose top two is going to be a runaway but i guess if i had

02:23to choose ben it's going to be the knicks at least they have the talent to somehow upset teams that are

02:28better than them but they can't in the regular season maybe it changes in the playoffs that's what
